Rembrand as.. (( Join )) or (( join )) or maybe even Join! or join! Join. - Join. are also possibilities.
"Join" is an action verb and in this company a call to action. And instead of Stan, it's a play on "John" - You deserve it! Say goodbye to Stan(imposter syndrome) & Stanford and say hello to "join" aka John...my dude.
Love you bro!
founder james
P.S. maybe even use the brackets (( ____)) in the Join wordmark...looks cool. 😎
Hi John, new sub from Ghana here. I love and appreciate the series. The videos have inspired me to double down on my startup idea. I'll be following keenly. Thank you❤
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your journey man, it’s SO COOL and motivating
ОтветитьAmazing content. Thank you 🙏
ОтветитьThis is absolutely incredible. As a $3m ARR start up, this hits home on sooo many levels. Please keep this going.
ОтветитьWhy have I discovered this channel just now?!
Subscribed & will binge watch all your videos + all future ones 🫡
This series is so cool. Seeing the behind the scenes of creating a SaaS business is so entertaining! Keep it up guys!!
ОтветитьHire me as a marketer , i have stratagies for your bussniess
Ответитьwow is it that easy to just take a weekend off and come with a new financial model and still get a meeting with VC ??!!
I am born and raised in india so have zero idea on startup funding and how it happens.
-- my question is --> Suppose anyone has a product and its gaining customers like something within 50K only , how do they get a meeting with investors? is that very easy or difficult ? kindly shed some light please
absolutely amazing! Cannot find such content anywhere else. Good luck to both of you!
ОтветитьInspired by what you do and how transparent you are with everything you do! Nice series.
ОтветитьI have a question - What does "option to hire a CEO" actually means? Aren't this just giving lead away and stepping out?
Ответитьa next-level transparency that's truly inspiring
ОтветитьI don’t think there are many CEOs out there that will be as genuine and honest about what they are going through! Really inspiring!
ОтветитьI agree with Eurie, you should raise more money while you have some positive movement in revenue. Get more cash. Can be used for many things.
ОтветитьWalk us through your initial valuation, how many users did you have? What portion of them were paying etc
ОтветитьIntegrate AI and see hyper growth, lol,
ОтветитьTake that weekend and then grow that team! You've come this far - time to level up! <3
ОтветитьThanks for the transparency! What a weird world we live in.
ОтветитьHi John - can you share any advice on how to get pre-seed funding? I applied on numerous VC sites and either get no response or rejections, without any meaningful feedback. So i'm not sure if I need to work on another idea or just keeping applying.
ОтветитьI just love this channel, the coolness and sympathetic of you John - wish you all the best of luck to achive your goal buddy, you truly earn it!
Greetings from Germany
Bro wheres your jacket from?
Ответитьthis was a great video! love seeing what happens behind the scenes at vc meetings
ОтветитьHey Jay, you doing great and I think your optimistic attitude is amazing. Keep it up!
ОтветитьWow John! Your videos are so good. Why is this channel not getting recommended to everyone!
ОтветитьIt is so cool to just watch how a start up really works. Keep going John, you got this. When you feel burnt out just think of the 1000s of creators you are helping to change their life. That is what I do to fire me up to edit even when i'm burnt out. Can't wait to see this company and channel grow together.
ОтветитьBefore seeing this, I thought vc meetings would be this really high pressure thing which just focused on numbers and all that but this changed my perspective on how these meetings really are
ОтветитьMore of this! 🙌
ОтветитьHere is some constructive criticism for you. And I say this respectfully (seriously). I went to your website before watching the whole video, and it took me 3-4 minutes to understand what you are selling. After realizing what it was, there was nothing on the site that made me feel like I need this service. Also, the landing page needs more artwork, or some type of infographics. Just my opinion. Good luck with your venture. I’m in the website design phase of my new venture and plan to launch soon.
ОтветитьI'm an middle age guy, but I've learned so much from just watching some of your videos. Thank you for the great content.
ОтветитьGosh. Thank you for showing vulnerability. It makes you more likeable! I’m a fan .
Ответитьprobably not what you're interested in doing, but:
when you mentioned what your company did in the video, it made me check your website to see if there was any value to me as an individual (not creator) in getting bundled apps for less. I love Setapp (no idea if they are doing well), but I wonder if there is any value in offering the calendly, barebones website, analytics, etc, for professionals who are looking to create a portfolio for like 12$ a month or something.
I run a small consulting company and the website component is out of my depth/interest, even as a salesforce developer. But I see how maybe that might be too broad of an audience.
I just feel like we are in the era of burgeoning freelancers and i don't think there really is an all in one solution for someone who is exiting their career and starting freelance consulting. would be cool if there was a service (that included a CSM), that helped you spin up a website, contact page, about page, help with SEO, set up calendly bookings, integrate with calendar, etc.
Good job for being 1000% transparent! Admitting to feeling “imposter syndrome” is the right step to not being an imposter. Bravo. Many people are too scared to admit it, but everyone experiences some form of imposter syndrome in their journey. It’s ok, this is where you will find deep personal growth. You’re a brand new baby founder learning how to build a product and run a business like a baby chick learning to fly. You will grow into those wings as a byproduct of searching out solutions and trial and error and then one day you will soar! Keep up the good work! Keep being transparent…it’s a sign of courage.
Courage is doing something even though you ARE scared. It’s ok to be scared. You’re gonna be alright 🙏🏼✝️
You shouldn’t raise before need arises there job is to make you raise more
ОтветитьLove this insight - can you share customer acquisition cost to get the 48% MOM growth in New Trial Signups?
ОтветитьCant wait for episode 3! These are my favorite vids on the channel by far.
Ответитьnice to see this happen in real time
Ответитьwow how do you get investors or partners who are flexible and interested in your Growth, even tho you are first time founder how do you identify investor or partners who don’t wanna suck you life force😅
ОтветитьExcited to see your journey of pursuing your passion. Subscribed!
ОтветитьIt has been settled. VCs are useless.
Ответитьthis was really good! best of luck to y'all :)
ОтветитьThe female vc was so kind, so patient, so willing to discuss, so counter intuitive in a positive way. I’ve got many a beef with vc, but she was actually secretive to the discussion.
ОтветитьGreat show man! Keep it up.
Ответитьwould be very very interesting to see if stan is able to scale to physical products. now that would be a bigger game changer in my opinion.
ОтветитьJust wanna say, your hair is fabulous 😏
Ответитьgoldmine of information. awesome transparency and breakdown of your pursuit. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis channel will blow up, calling it now. This is incredibly insightful thank you!
ОтветитьAbsolutely love your transparency here. Couldn't be more excited about this series.
ОтветитьIm feeling the exact se way my guy. Fuck. Burn out is rough.
