Hey! If you didn’t make it to the end of this video, I wanted to let you know that I am moving to uploading every two weeks for the next while so that I can work on a few things in the background. I appreciate you 💛
ОтветитьDo you have a video explaining the bounce back checklist?
ОтветитьSounds like 10 ways to procrastinate to me, tbh (act busy while you are busy not doing what you meant to do).
ОтветитьIdk if this is depression but I go through stages where I’m lazy and low for 2-4 weeks then I’m high for maybe 1-2 weeks, it’s been this way for 4 years now, I’m not sure what it is, but I’ve done a lot to figure it out and fix it but I still can’t avoid these stages..😢 I’ve tried meds, hospital programs, weed, nothing will remove it
ОтветитьI’m so glad I found this channel. Keep up the good work 😉👊🏼
Ответитьeat
ОтветитьShout out to Rachellea!😊
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьCooking while I watch this 😁❤️
ОтветитьIm willing to watch ‘New Girl’ - thats all for now! Lol
ОтветитьAmazing ideas 🤍
ОтветитьBut what if I can‘t go to bed early sometimes? like on Tuesday, sunday and Wednesday I sometimes can‘t go to bed early. Often on Tuesdays, sundays and Wednesdays I‘m not home until 10:00 pm (and it‘s not partying or something anywhere, it‘s very very important to me)
ОтветитьMusic is too distracting...
ОтветитьMy friend and I would meet up once a week for dinner and hold each other accountable for the projects and tasks we were working on. We called it an 'Accountabilibuddy'. Best thing ever. ;)
ОтветитьI love all the tips except the cooking with a tv show on, or scroll through tiktok. That's not good, delete tiktok because tiktok is probably the reason you're unmotivated
ОтветитьThank you so much!
Ответитьbury the light
ОтветитьMeanwhile: me is still unmotivated after watching this video :( what makes me unmotivated is because my videos in YT have fewer views lately :(
ОтветитьThe problem is when you don't have anyone to partner with, take a cup of coffee or tea with, or even chat to on the phone . I isolate myself and I don't think that is bad.
Ответитьhey @muchelleb idk how often you check these comments but i figured that i would give it a try.
i was making massive strides in my life both personally and professionally only to be laid off because the company was losing money. i’m adrift, unmotivated, depressed, and generally lost. how would you recommend getting back on one’s feet after such an upending event?
Thank you 😊
ОтветитьHello Muchelle: I so FEEL / HEAR you right now, in this moment ... 😊! Hugs from Michelle in Southern California 🏖️
ОтветитьI needed this!
ОтветитьEnd of the year is near. I feel I didn't do much as planned. Can you please share how to reset and get back on track before the new year
ОтветитьI always start my days with timers. I wake up, then I got 5 mins to do things, then 10, then 15, then 20 and at the most days after that I'm ready to tackle on the day. If my motivation is still low, I go into my day with these timers. :)
ОтветитьI have really been struggling lately to get motivated and accomplish things. Even the most mundane task feels like climbing a mountain. Thank you for breaking these down simply and explaining them (and the benefits) so clearly. I can’t wait to try these and start getting shit done again 💖
ОтветитьReally appreciate you posting this!! 💗💗
ОтветитьAlways love your videos ❤ thank you so much!
Ответитьi feel like i just got specifically called out in that intro because i totally sat in my bed and watched New Girl all day today
ОтветитьWatching you gets me motivated 😃👍👍👍
ОтветитьOMG your point of seeking connection is so crucial! I never truly recognised the importance of this and as an introvert, I operate the same way (feeling unmotivated=tend to isolate). I think my subconscious would often push me connecting though, and I'd always feel better after socialising, sharing ideas and getting out of my own head, especially when feeling a bit meh. Now that you said it out loud, my brain finally made the connection on a conscious level too! Thank you, you made me having a big revelation moment early in the morning! :) The rest of the tips are just as useful too, great video ✨
ОтветитьI wish I had a person for parallel accountability. I have a few friends but everyone has totally different lifestyles than me.
Ответитьaww thanks for the mention 💛💛 love all these tips 🙌🏼
Ответить"Parallel accountability" - ah, yes, what a lot of us in the ADHD community call "body doubling", with, as Jess from HowToADHD calls them, our "accountabili-buddies". Can certainly work very well
ОтветитьThis video was soo helpful and reassuring! I've spoken to a few friends and they have said they are going through the same thing of feeling unmotivated or just blah, so i think there is something in the air atm, but this video got me moving, connecting and I felt so much better when I took action on the suggestions in this video. Thank you Michelle! 💕💕
ОтветитьWhere is your sweater from? I love it😍
Ответитьthis vid came at the right time 😩
ОтветитьThis video called me out, but that's why it was so helpful
ОтветитьForgot one crucial tip.
The plastic chair.
in the adhd community parallel accountability is also called body doubling
ОтветитьI love putting your videos on in the background to help me stay motivated! Does anyone here have any podcasts that are somewhat the same as this content that they love?
ОтветитьYour beautiful as always darling. I needed this video
ОтветитьOh gosh I caught Covid after all this time being Covid free and I lost all motivation.
ОтветитьParallel accountability is also called "body doubling"
ОтветитьLove your work. xx
ОтветитьNeeded this video for today! Thanks Muchelle <3
ОтветитьI’ve been struggling so much with low motivation/low energy and these tips are genius!!
ОтветитьWow, I literally paused New Girl to watch this video.
ОтветитьFor ADHD, I think we call parallel accountability “body doubling” 😂
ОтветитьLiterally lying in bed feeling like shit when you posted this. Might be a lifesaver! Thanks again for all your work that makes our lives easier and motivates us when we are potato
