I accidentally committed bank fraud in my teens lucky I was never caught
ОтветитьHow did the bank not notice any of this? Can someone please explain
ОтветитьBoring
ОтветитьA Current Affair is and always has been a joke, as is most Aussie media. Not surprised they pulled some slimy stuff like that, and even less surprised they couldn’t spell warrant properly - “Warrent for arrest”? Classic ACA.
ОтветитьIf he would've just bought crypto went to another country he'd be free
ОтветитьThis has to be a joke
he takes out millions of dollars and they don't even care
someone does a small petty crime? 25 years in prison
also he could've invested the money and made tripple the money. If they asked him back, he would simply hand it over what was owed
Maaaaaan i would have got a couple hundred thousand out and ran to the Philippines and lived like a king with a regular job. I wouldn't have told nobody
ОтветитьThis story shows that if the bank were to go after him they would have to open their books to the police and that wasn’t worth 1.6 million at all. Shows you how much the banks are really stealing from people to not care about that amount of money
ОтветитьWhen the bank is a bigger crook than Dan
ОтветитьI was an unexperienced stock trader and i lost over $30K when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I find one source to recover my money, at least $5k profits weekly. Thanks so much Mrs Brittany Utley
ОтветитьNone of this money came out of bank customer accounts... That's not how banks work. Banks have insurance for this type of situation. Even if a bank is robbed its not like the bank branch has stacks of money with customers names on it and the robber runs away with it...oh its gone sorry customers. It doesn't work like that. Obviously the bank should have some culpability in this situation they should have been a bit more intelligent and using due diligence, considering they are supposedly financial experts. I wouldn't have been surprised if they would have just made it disappear just because of the embarrassment and maybe possible fear of they too maybe also blamed. Which is kinda what it seems they were doing. If Dan would have just let it go it would have just went away. But at least he can say he did the right thing, I don't know how many people would have went that far to call attention to their wrong doings.
Ответитьif he bought Crypto he could have paid it all back and still had heaps
ОтветитьSo instead of slowly taking that money and investing it, he spent it drinking and gambling. He could've been a millionaire for multiple generations, would've invested into realty under a made company not associated with myself. Would have employed myself and took all the dividends as income. Employ the boys and actually make a company.
ОтветитьHe’s my hero
ОтветитьDan dodged a bullet with the fiance. The first sign of trouble, she ends their four year relationship via text.
Ответитьbrb gonna go find an atm near me...
ОтветитьThis video is 10000000% PROOF that NOBODY SHOULD BE GAMBLING!!! If he had spent all 1.6 Million on gambling, it would have been a guarantee that he only come out with no more than 100,000 in prize money. Those coming in with a few hundred or a couple thousand are expected to make way way way less. For those that don't know, there are top prizes in casinos (a couple million), these are not won in a single night. They are awarded over a 10 year period to thousands of players, not a single individual. You may see someone come out with a few million dollars, however, they go to jail because the only way to get that kind of money is to cheat the casino. So far, 100% of everyone that has won millions in casinos are in jail or have served due to cheating. There's the old saying, the casinos are allowed to steal from you, but you are not allowed to steal from a casino.
Ответитьradically stimulated the economy... central bankers resent this type of thing with a passion.
ОтветитьThis happens to all bank - stand by mode.
ОтветитьWhat a waste.
ОтветитьWhat a great story. Good job!
ОтветитьThere was a similar case in Uruguay, where a guy went to a trip in Europe, spent some money with CC and when he returned, he was charged in pesos, instead of converted Euros (e.g. spent 2000 euros, and he got charged for 2000 pesos (1 euro = about 40 pesos currently), so he went multiple times and spent more and more and always got charged in pesos, until he was caught after the bank noticed millions missing.
ОтветитьGood for Dan 😂
ОтветитьWhat a good dude. At least he wasn't greedy. Like a drink robin hood lmao
Ответить@darkviperau
ОтветитьAwesome well put together video, 40 minutes of hard work.
Love this story. I used to visit Melbourne a tonne so next time I visit i'll think of Dan. I might go visit the ATM also.
Can't really understand why he was fired from the tavern
ОтветитьThis is amazing he should be an Australian national treasure
ОтветитьWhy is credit card side of the balance not showing up the the money credited to savings account?
ОтветитьI feel like Dan is what WSB would be like if it was a person.
ОтветитьThank you Dan, you have proven that a man need a higher purpose an infinite money glitch is not enough but unforetunately Dan did not understand it was just a drop in the bucket of the money being wasted by the bank.
ОтветитьDamn, he plead guilty in a case that he could not have lost.
ОтветитьThe funny thing is that the money they stole didn't actually exist... and neither does the money that the banks spend and loan.
ОтветитьHow did he go to the island for two days if he had to visit the ATM every single night?
ОтветитьGood story.. and when Dan woke up did he have coffee?
ОтветитьImagine if he would have just stashed the money away, and spent very little of it for a few years. He could've waited to see if he got caught, but would still have the money if forced to pay it back. Then after the statute of limitations, he could start a business with that money & then become 'legitimately' wealthy👍😅
ОтветитьI'm pretty sure a lot of people were using this magic money
ОтветитьUnless this video has severely exaggerated his spending, her clearly spent a lot more than 1.6 million. Just the transfers and withdrawals mentioned here add up to way more than that.
Ответитьif you want to learn real magic ask Dan ❤😂
ОтветитьWell done Dan 👍👍
ОтветитьTo be fair 1.6 million is almost nothing to a bank. Its easy to write that off. I just find this guy to be kind of an idiot at the end, but a legendary one for sure.
ОтветитьThat was a pleasent watch
ОтветитьI had a simular thing happen with PayPal and my betting account could move over as much as I wanted but it bounced at the end of the month never had any correspondence from PayPal they just shut my account.
Ответить🤘🏼🫶🏼🆒📶📶📶📶📶🥂💫🎶🎶🎶🎵🎶
ОтветитьMy heart was racing just imagining being Dan. I’d be terrified of getting caught every day! I couldn’t do this.
ОтветитьWhat an odd story. Not sure what to think of this guy. Did any of the other four get arrested?
ОтветитьMy pal tool over 200k from the ATM mistake was never found out.
Ответить
