U can avoid the first auto attack before a zantetsuken lv5 when keeping pressed square before so it charges burning blade you just keep it pressed while breaking your fingers and press O and let go of Square immediately😅 saving some frames

I used your tech to do all of Ultimanic mode. Being able to lock stuff down makes it so much easier. If the boss can’t attack, I don’t have to worry about being 2 shot.

Edit: after watching the video again, I used a modified version of this. I probably just forgot what you did and made up those parts. I don’t use mega flare, Garuda instead.

Im currently playing NG+. I was there was an option to get your ultima weapon and go to the normal game mode and just slay lvl 50 opponents with laughter

BUT the difference here is huge. I'll keep on finishing my gear and get ultima weapon as soon as I can. btw what do you have in waist and wrist slot?

Not sure if this question it's already been done but can you stagger enemies with this build and then still have all the skills ready for the combo?

I'd not forget to mention that you can gain even more time from rift slip if you initiate it just right at the tail end of any ability (Only once you've mastered it of course) just noticed you don't really know the timing for the extensions

I can't get the zentetzhuken off quick enough it's really irritating me I'm sure I'll get it but it is a bastard how uncomfortable it is to switch then switch to odins sword whilst holding down a charge

How do u do that rift slip cold snap im doing it but its not staggering them that long atall

i too also like big numbers, most i got with my own build was like 120,000k, but the game is so easy that i didnt feel the need to go for more, i didnt even come close to dying to any boss or mark, hopefully final fantasy mode is tougher but it doesnt seem it so far, they are just even more spongey

Just got ultima weapon. Looking to enjoy the remaining side quests with a build that’s not primary used to speed run ng+1 for the plat and this will be used for the remaining hunts for sure. Thanks! 👍🏼

My max is 450,000 to 500,050 in bosses like ultima etc etc well I am using ultima weapon with genji glove +1 and genji glove and the pull of darkness +1 and active lumit break and strength tonic In training is easy to get 1,000,000 real life combat you need to think fast.

We need more of ff16 combat with more summons hopefully they do ff17 and imrpove upon ff16

How come in your vids you already have level 5 zan before you start the boss fight?

I'm in my 4 playthrough to stack up Genji gloves+1 to a second pair I'm asking by doing that will damage power increase even further? I tested with the genji gloves 5% to 10% It help me getting a no damage battle against Hugo on Final Fantasy mode. Either way I'm interested to give it a shot Oh amazing Video!

What is the max damage u can get with Invictus? Since is the Promo and CG blade, I’m going through the whole game with it. Barnabas was tough but Última is really challenging. Will try some of you tricks. Nice vid by the way. Subscribed.

Imagine hitting 1 million damage and the enemy just only gets staggered. SMH
The combat system and story were impressive at first but this game has so many design flaws. When they said this would be like dmc combat was expecting more....better or at least the same.

You can skip attack animation when hold to release zantetsuken
Im using control B so attacking with R1, in semi prime animation i hold R1 (attack), swap to odin and press L2 (equip odin sword) after that release R1 and it will skip the attack animation you need to unleash zantetsuken

So pretty much just abuse coldsnap?

I wihs this game had loadouts, let me change between boss setup and trash setup, don't make me do it manually. Seems like such an oversight, cause that would be QoL.

you have to battle hours a day to build the ability points up, i have started with flame and now lightning the lightning spell is great but i am way behind you at level 30 and 1000,s of coin, but will get there. My advice is avoid basic quests and get out and fight for about 3 hours a day(breaks included though), killer bees, crabs, scorpions, are the best to rack up quick points, they respawn but keep away from minotaurs, adamantoise, etc. accessories are good as well.

I use to focus on trying to get the biggest stagger damage.... but.... I find it's faster to destroy a boss if you balance stagger with will damage. The faster I stagger the faster it dies regardless of stagger damage. And it's more FUN

I'm doing a no hit challenge with all the bosses and it hard af.

I have a hard time with any and all abilities in this game that requires you to hold a button for a certain amount of time making it very hard for me to use Zentesuken. I’ve practiced for hours after getting it but I keep screwing up and thereby losing precious seconds during stagger. Currently not using Odin at all cause I got so tired of it (haven’t used Titan’s abilities much either for the same reason)

Edit: To anyone who like me has problems with the button timing on stuff, I recommend doing all Chronolith trials. This forces you to focus on only 2 abilities at a time and finding out how to use them in the most efficient ways to win. Probably both the most challenging and fun I’ve had with the game so far.

XVI is really missing a superboss with as much HP to die at the end of such a combo. As of now no mob (bosses not included because of HP guard) can withstand even a fourth of that combo. Unfortunaly.

To reach level 78 you have to start a new game in Final Fantasy Mode which got up to level 100.
