I'm considering this A400 after a horrible experience with a seagate ssd
ОтветитьYour videos are very informative and very relaxing. Great work.
ОтветитьSadly in my country the A400 in 480gb is only 30usd while the SU800 in 512gb is around 86usd, so obviously I picked the A400, I already have an expensive M2 where I put the more demanding games so it doesn't matter too much.
Ответитьmy a400 500gb I purchased $180 USD back in 2018 died a year later because of firmware error. After many attempts, I finally managed to make it work again. It's still working nowadays but it's slow as hell when copying large files. Won't recommend it. I'd say just buy a samsung sata ssd if you want better longevity and performance
Ответитьi got about 15 kingston 224GB A400 SSD, in less than 2 years, 3 are defected, nerver buy it ever again
ОтветитьI found kingston a400 for just 14 Euros on europe...
ОтветитьKingston A400 have more revisions
Ответить870 EVO it´s good for some time... after starts to break your PC
ОтветитьKingston has become synonymous with mass-produced crap.
Ответитьkingstong worst ssd ever this is only ssd which failed on my system
ОтветитьWhen the A400 gets filled over 50% capacity, boy it starts slowing down. Mine is 60% occupied and got so slow it's disappointing. I also have another SSD of a better brand, filled to almost capacity (97%-98%) and it always keeps fast without any issues. The Kingston really is inferior product. Not to mention for those who are using SSD intensively (gaming, large file transfer, etc) the Kingston is known for sudden death even when health was showing good, without much chances of recovering files
Ответитьi have that same pc
Ответитьidk abaut the su800 but i had two ADATA Ultimate SU650 that faild afther abaut 4 moths and the kingston a400 that i both for my main pc is still ok 2 years afther the purchase
-Sorry for bad english
I've been using two SSDs 500gb and 1tb from Goldenfir and they work very well
ОтветитьI've read several review about how the Adata failed on them after only few months. Meanwhile my kingston 2018 a400 and another bought v400 2016 are still alive. would be great if the adata is sturdy enough though.
Ответитьi had a kingston a400 that died on me after a restart. i now have another one because the one that died was my main and i had a sencondary one, the secondary one still has 98% health after some formats and i am using it right now as my second one, my main one is a samsung 970 evo plus of 500gb
Ответитьwhat about a WD green?
ОтветитьIs that an Authentic kingston Product?
ОтветитьIt has to do something with your hardware then, My Laptop is not fast as well, It has 8Gb of ram and intel Celeron only, but the recent one, I have Kings a400 480gb installed on it, running windows 10 Enterprise, my boot time is like 10seconds only
ОтветитьAny new updates on the best cheap ssd for mid 2023? Looking around at ordering a 1tb but not sure which brand / mode will be most reliable
ОтветитьAll in all, avoid this drive AT ALL COSTS. Of the 90 or so i sold to customers in the past year and half, 50 of them came back. All faulty. Kingston stopped honoring the warranty.
Ответитьi think your kingston is a fake, my kignston a400 240gb booting up completely in 15 seconds
running on windows 10 pro
core i3-3120m 8GB ram
peice of cake
For me, simply the worst SSD of the known brands there are models like the A400 960g that are almost like a counterfeit Chinese product without a brand
All the data fills up very slowly to the point that it looks like a cheap USB in writing, I would never buy a kingston again
As far as i know adata is not as reliable as kingston and having problems after some time off using it.
I would buy something like WD blue instead of both.
will it be good for a ps4 ??
ОтветитьPersonally I'm most interested in the drive with the best durability regardless of the price.
ОтветитьKing stunned bud jajajaja
ОтветитьSilicon power ssd
ОтветитьTry Walram SSD. Beats kingstons price.
ОтветитьCrucial has a good price-performance ratio
ОтветитьWhy I can't find a su800 at 25 dollars?
ОтветитьIt all depends on the needs, only reading should not have a significant difference, writing has a significant difference and needs D-RAM
ОтветитьNot anymore, they increased the price after great reviews
ОтветитьKingston SSDs had a bad rep of DOA or die soon after putting into operation. The smaller sized SSDs have just plummeted in prices, and there is little reason to be picky. Buy the one with the best deal.
ОтветитьI just installed a Kingston KC600 256GB mSATA ssd but it apparently begins with a fixed size partition. I don't know how to clone the existing bootable HD onto this device due to that oddball partition. -edit- used DISKPART to clean the ssd and eliminate the unwanted partition.
Crucial BX500 SSD Series is the best.
Ответитьis the Crucial P3 Plus 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 good?
ОтветитьI just always buy Samsung and don't worry about it
ОтветитьWhat about life of drive / durability if you want to store files on drive and put away for safe keeping of files over hdd wich read head can become stuck causing files to become inaccessible
ОтветитьThanks for the video. I use Samsung, WD, Sandisk and kingston, in the companie's computers but No SP or Adata. 5 years ago I used a SP for a new build and data would be corrupted on and off. It finally died after the warranty expired. Adata was a DOA.
ОтветитьI think Im gonna go with a ' WD Blue ', they are pretty cheap £45 for 250gb and from what I understand, they have the dram cache malarkey. It might be twice the price, but still, ya cant complain at £45 for a fastish SSD.
Ответитьa400 480gb is half the damn price of the su800 where i live in romania
ОтветитьWhat about the Crucial MX500?
ОтветитьThanks for these videos, I have looked at all these ssds online or at stores. Managed to find the Silicon Power at 1TB for a better price than any of the other drives on the list and feel pretty decent.
ОтветитьI've got a handful of various cheap SSDs in use, including Crucial, PNY, SanDisk, Kingston, and Inland. Haven't had any of them fail yet, but I also typically recommend Samsung to anyone looking to buy one for their main system. I don't care if one of my home machines dies, but I don't want to help a friend try recovering data from a cheap drive.
Ответитьi have a question why cant i use my a400 240gb in full when 1 reach 120gb my pc stop working and hang
ОтветитьIn india SSD are cheap, i bought crucial BX500 240gb for $21 on Amazon.
ОтветитьI think many of you have power supply problems, fluctuations in power that kill the ssd and then you all blame Kingston. GJ.
Ответитьswitching from an HDD to an SSD, the A400 helped a lot making my machine feel more responsive. but it is a shame that i didn't come across this video sooner haha
