I was 10. I miss the 80s a lot. C64 gaming. Bmx riding, this music, no mobile phones. Even going to the corner shop in the early 80s to get a 5p mix bag of ten sweets cos they were all a half p each.

I attended Harvard in the late 70's. Ric Ocasek and Benjamin Orr had an apt. in Central Square which is just one stop away from the Harvard Square stop on the red line. Ric Ocasek had those unique looks; You could not miss him when he walked around the area. He was known to stop into lecture halls to listen. The Cars also played at the Harvard Freshman dance where students came from all over Boston to attend. They were paid just "the going rate" for bands at the time...Little did anyone know that they would explode into the national music scene 8 months later!!
