I love mascara on my natural lashes

Thats how ive always done mascara 💁‍♀️ and wipe off brush with paper towel after scraping on top of container. Lay your roots and wiggle left to right and then swoop up. Hold brush 1/4 of length for about 10 seconds push it to make lash bend back makes the mascara hold the curl like its hairspray. Less is more on brush layers do the thing, not one thick layer. I rarely use. Curler. But i have my grandmas curler thsts 50+ yrs old. Best one i have EVER used! My mom tought me how to fo makeup. In person style and stage makeup which is meant to be perfect at a distance. Step back far as you can from mirror and look at what you could do to make it pop. We are all artistic beings, do your thing! Always check makeup up close and at distance 😊 my mom learned to do makeup from her aunt chuck and uncle bill who use to do Priscilla Presley's makeup... I knew about contouring, shading and all thst jazz by 12.. and i rarely wear makeup lol but i know how to do it!

I’ve been doing this since my teenage years. I usually use 2 different types of mascaras too. Maybe a volumizing the first round and a lengthening one the second and third 🎉

A spoolie works really well to brush lashes between layers too

your the first makeup artist i've seen use a lash comb. my mom taught me to do that to get the clumps out and i've never seen anyone else do it. it always bothers me when I see people with clumpy mascara!

I feel like it would still be disingenuous to do that on an ADVERTISEMENT because that’s not what it looks like and we are so used to brushing off actual advertising because they use tricks like this to fuck with the result and then they don’t come out looking like that on regular users and we don’t know why so if you’re gonna advertise as an influencer just use the product as intended or we won’t trust you just like we don’t trust advertisers

Rewatching this incredible show years later, and just noticed the scene around 27 mins in where Chris’s mom comes and I wondered if that was a “don’t cry over spilt milk” thing, like the Adam-Eve reference at the end like someone else commented. Chris was a character that was screwed over too many times, and him crying then, losing another chance at a family , never fitting in, never feeling worthy… he had very few people he could count on and had so much love to give .

Id rather go without mascara at this point because it's a pain to clean
