Work was just starting when I was there.

this is also one of my dreams to visit Babylon and Iraq...What wonderful people.

If that country was safe, they could get so many tourists. That Saddam palace could be a great hotel and museum. I would love to go there.

Still in ruins after all these 1000's of years...all it will amount to is possibly a small tourist attraction somewhat like a amusement park lol...God said it will remain desolate then it will remain desolate its just that simple

The actual city of Babylon , is Jerusalem Israel .

On a side note. When the US military was in Iraq the Navy Seals stayed in Saddam's palace.

I will go one day.

But they should put this palace (Sadam Husayn's) into good and profitable use for the state instead of it lying waste

Iraq is a beautiful country I went there in 1805 at age of 17 years,I will go again there in 2026 for 2 years I will go to all big cities of Iraq then I will go to Eygpt in 2030 also for 2 years after that I will visit Dubai in 2035 I really like to travel around the world...
