This review is useless as the fuel economy cited is inaccurate. He says Malibu is rated at 46 mpg? That's BS. Most people average 29. And all his numbers are way off.

I don't care about audio or HP as long as it isn't dangerously low e.g. Nissan Versa. Where do I find a commuter that has an easily serviceable engine and transmission that doesn't turn to shit in 200k miles?

you did fine until you got to the Malibu. The build quality and reliability will likely leave drivers stranded at some point.

you also failed to mention the issues that the Altima has with the CVT transmission.

I had an 07 Altima - V6 and a manual. Great car for the money. Sold it....
