Hi Katja, thank you for such an amazing video! My question is about paint. At first glance, it feels like the whole construction paint color is the same as the walls. Is it true? I'd like to understand if was it done intentionally or if the colors are still slightly different? I'm curious to know what you think would be the best choice - keep them all one color (walls + bookshelves/cabinets) or make it different (of course, per your style)? Appreciate your response! Keep up with a great job - you're a true inspiration!

Did you put the Billy Bookcases upside down? I don't see the kick plate that's usually at the bottom of the bookcases

Where are the Knoxville cabinets from ? (The bottom ones with doors)

Would like to see how you painted it, did you mask areas etc, how to avoid dripping, spraying inside all those boxes?

Looks great - nice job. How does the billy bookcase fit on the knoxhult evenly? Billy is 31.5” width and Knoxhult is 30”. Thanks!

Paint is bad for books. Don’t paint the inside of the bookcases or shelves if you plan to use this for storing books.

I do not recommend watching this video. The end result is good, BUT the commentator does not demonstrate all of the steps taken. There is mostly a load of talking about WHAT to do, while pictures of the finished product are shown. Would have been SO MUCH more helpful to show images of what you are directing the viewer to do, AS you are talking about the steps of work. "10" for finished product, "2" for easy to follow depiction of direction.

How do you open the cabinet doors?

At step 9 you say that you have to cut out the base of the Billy bookcase: which tool did you use to have a clean cut? Thanks!!!

I like what you did with it, but the styling is too flat. Not enough balance, or interest.

It isnt grouting, it is caulking. Grouting is for tile

Might I sugest that you stop saying step 6 or step 9 but show people how you are doing it, it was difficult to follow with the speed you were talking, if your doing a hack show it, it looks great but there is no real indecation that it is "billy bookcases" not trying to be negative just helpful

I find it unfortunate that the joints between each cabinet are still visible. Some filler in each joint and sanding before painting would have given the whole thing a more finished look. My 2 cents.

It looks stunning, huge amount of work, but definitely has paid off for you

I have been trying to make something very close to this, but was having trouble figuring out a base cabinet that would match the width of the Billy bookcases. This is genius! Thank you for a great video!
