Hey Everyone! It's been a hot minute since I posted a regular vid on the channel. Never fear, now that the feature-length doc is done (Being Japanese for those of you not in the loop), I'll be able to regularly upload once again. Thanks for being patient! As mentioned, my sister-in-law Akko and I plan to do a whole "REALLY" series, so please post what you'd like to know about what Japanese REALLY do!
Ответитьhow to make miso soup
ОтветитьSo glad I found this channel! Loved this video and I laughed real hard at Akko’s boiled egg joke 😂😂
ОтветитьRecommended: corn muffins.
Ответить🙏🎉👍
ОтветитьWhat about what they make for bentos?
ОтветитьHi! I really enjoyed this video. Have you considered/can you please do one on grocery shopping in Japan, highlighting costs and quantities? Ex: I know fruit is more expensive in Japan vs. America. :)
ОтветитьNo dishwasher for family of 5? ;_;
ОтветитьThey're so old fashioned in Japan it's crazy! Most women in America don't even have time anymore to premake meals and breakfast.
ОтветитьEating out of the pan is honestly the smartest thing. less cleaning lel
ОтветитьI had a smile on my facecthe whole time I'm watching this video. Simply beautiful :)
Ответитьso frugal, i notice most japan is like this, wonder if the poverty is there but upgraded and took a different form. They are so busy that they are not able to live properly, not just getting by.
ОтветитьWhat do the Japanese eat for breakfast?? Same as everybody else, a blunt and a cup of coffee!
Ответить😮
ОтветитьWhen I stayed in Tokyo, my breakfast every morning was poached eggs, sausage, salad, yogurt, and coffee at the Denny's across from my hotel. People in North America were mortified, but I'm telling you those were the finest breakfasts I've eaten. (BTW, your sister is amazing! That egg joke killed me XD )
ОтветитьI don't know why but this seventeen minutes are so brighten up me. They are so kind and happier I expected
ОтветитьSuch a fun video!!!
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video!!
ОтветитьI found it interesting too and I'm glad they chose to share what they have for breakfast.
ОтветитьI'm surprised by all the bread. I had the assumption that there would be a lot less, none actually.
ОтветитьYou better keep to your traditions and get rid of that bread, look what it’s done to us lol
ОтветитьCanadians freeze bread?!?! Somehow that's the most shocking international revelation.
ОтветитьWhy not. In English. So we all can understand what your saying we can't read that lil tiny weighting it's to small and to fast it's giving me a headach please do English or make the wrighting. Larger so we can see it and read it better
ОтветитьI've never been able to eat when I woke up. Takes me hours to actually get myself together, especially my stomach.
ОтветитьThe first mom is like almost everymom...eat from the pan directly 😅
Ответить13.18 That meal looks delicious 😊
ОтветитьIs there no wholewheat bread in Japan? 🤔 I was able to find it when I lived in China
ОтветитьIt is interesting to see how much preparation people go through compared to what I think most people do here in the states. Breakfast cereal is horrifically bad for you even the ones that claim to be good. Even oats. Think of kibbles and bits for dogs. Breakfast cereal is kibbles for people.
ОтветитьIf Japanese keep eating this way, not normal for them, THEY WILL START TO HAVE OUR HEALTH PROBLEMS. Please, stay with your healthy ways.
ОтветитьI actually don't eat any breakfast during the weekdays I eat breakfast on the weekends usually Brötchen with boiled eggs and a glass of orange juice :D
ОтветитьWhat a lovely video, my teen daughter is obsessed with everything Japanese and Korean, so we really enjoyed looking at the different foods.
Ответитьsuper healthy
ОтветитьI laughed so much with Akko's boiled egg joke 🤣 why am I like this
ОтветитьY.H.'s english is crazy good.
ОтветитьProtein drinks make for a fast breakfast.
ОтветитьOkay, but can w talk about how beautiful sensei is? She reminds me of the Chinse actress, NiNi
ОтветитьI would really like to go to Japan. I love Sushi. I have recently changed my diet to Gluten Free. So was wondering if most restaurants & other places to eat now cater for those with food allergies.(Japan is on my bucket list). I do hope that someone can reply. Thank you.
ОтветитьMost Japanese don’t eat breakfast. Lots of Japanese eat one meal a day, including men.
ОтветитьGross
ОтветитьSo most working people eat as terribly as we do in the US. Bread, coffee, or nothing at all. I’d have to go back to sleep if I ate as much food as that big spread.
Ответить"I don't eat breakfast at all"
Finally! someone like me. I never have the stomach for it, I might have a cup of coffee or a glass of milk.
I really want to see the bentos:-)
ОтветитьBig smiles - such sweet people . Bet they are good parents .
ОтветитьIn the hotels I stayed in Tokyo & Osaka for breakfast each had the same potato salad. Quite tasty but monotonous
ОтветитьI’d love a whole vid on rice balls.. how do you make them so they are tasty and not dried out a few days later even if they are wrapped up
ОтветитьAkko is absolutely wonderful.
ОтветитьGreat series, I watched Diner first, then lunch and finally breakfast. They made me hungry.
Ответитьグレッグさん、ビデオをありがとうございます。日本の朝ご飯が食べたい、おいしそう。
