I gave up so much of my life so my brother could get out of here and he's less than one year away from leaving to a good out of state college then he'll be gone. I'm so so proud of him but this song hits too close to home, sometimes I wonder what I could have done and who I could've been had I had the same chances.

The first time I heard this song was my last week in my uni town. I am graduating but all my friends have a year left. Two of my friends and I were making sushi together and playing our favourite songs to each other. This song played and we all cried a long to it. It was then that I realised just how lucky I had been and why moving away was so bittersweet. This song now reminds me of some of my favourite memories and of my best friends.

Saw him the other night live and I heard this song for the first time at the concert. I felt it to my core. I moved away from my family 15 years ago searching for bigger things, and it was the best thing I’ve done for myself. It wasn’t easy but you won’t grow as much if you choose to stay. For all the people out there that want to leave but they are hesitant, find your moment and take the leap of faith. Just don’t leave in bad terms with your love ones.

One of my friends is making a big step in his life and will be moving by the end of the year. My other friend dropped out of school last year but is living his best life. Another friend is graduating this year and is probably gonna get a soccer scholarship so he can live out his dream. They’re all making big life moves and this song is like me saying don’t worry I’ll be fine. See you soon brothers.

this song hits really close to home because my sister moved away for college but when she was done she didn’t come back, changed her name and only 2 years ago we went out to see her and this year, now she was back in town the whole summer and didn’t want to see us all of my family’s mad at her but me because i know she feels bad and understand what she going through so when i hear this it’s a ‘i love u forever’ to her.

Tomorrow my only sibling will go off to college, leaving me as an only child. I truly can't imagine life without my sister. Even though I know we'll see each other in the summer and on holidays, my life is going to feel so much emptier. Yet, at the same time, I'm so incredibly proud of her for taking such a big step in her life, and I can only imagine what else she and I will achieve, both together and on our own. This song represents all of my emotions, and I'll use it to think of her while she's gone. I'm so glad I found this masterpiece.
