Human Rights can only lead to total anarchy and breakdown of law and order! If it's taken to it's logical conclusion it must be wrong to lock anybody in a prison or punish them in any way because it is against their rights as a human being. No one can be told they are doing wrong because it may distress them. Serial killers can not be locked up, for example! But we don't need Human Rights because we have British law to protect the population!

Terjemahan human rights ke dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah tidak tepat, bahkan salah. Deklarasi PBB Universal Declaration on Human Rights memakau dua istilah yang berbeda yakni human rights (hak manusiawi) dan fundamental human rights (hak asasi manusia). Sayangnya, dua istilah tersebut itu diterjemahkan persis terbalik.

- Human rights seharusnya diterjemahkan menjadi hak manusiawi, malah diterjemahkan menjadi hak asasi manusia.
- Seharusnya hak asasi Manusia adalah terjemahan Fundamental human rights.

Jelas bahwa human right itu berbeda dengan fundamental human rights. Keduanya itu memang berbeda artinya.

Banyak orang Indonesia yang memahami human rights memalui terjemahan yang salah itu, sehingga pemahaman dan aplikasi mereka tentang human rights juga salah demikian pula diskusi diskusi mengenai human rights menjadi tidak tepat. Jadi, terjemahan yang salah ini berdampak besar pada pemahaman dan penerapan human rights.

Yang lebih parah lagi, banyak orang Indonesia mengucapkan “hak asasi manusia” (fundamental human rights), padahal yang dia maksudkan adalah human irghts (hak manusiawi). Kacau kan?

Tidak semua pelanggaran human rights itu otomatis merupakan kejahatan. Kok bisa? Ya bisa lah. Human rights are privileges, they are granted by an authority (the UN) and can be taken away.
What is most profound about human rights are that they contradict, sometimes strongly our NATURAL RIGHTS. which unlike human rights are inalienable and absolute

The problem is because you people dont understand what human right is.
You have right to free speech, of liberty and freedom to pursue happiness.
You have a human right to have access to water and food.
It is simple, if your right, requires the labour of another person.... it isnt a right, it is a privilege...

The universal declaration of human rights are not legally binding and only UN Security Council resolutions are legally binding. Countries are not legally obliged to follow human rights laws unless treaties are signed. I live in Singapore, and our death penalty usage is justified and lawful due to the sovereignty of every country to choose its laws. Sometimes punishments must outweigh the rights if the criminal. We cannot treat criminals nicely and no one should have the right to tell us. Human rights by the UN are individual rights but disregard the rights of others and society
