I heard this song for the first time the other day, and I fell in love with it. My stepdad passed away today after a long battle with Huntington's, and I immediately thought of this song because the beauty reflected his wonderful, kind and gentle soul, and indeed, he was bigger than life.

This song manages to be positive yet melancholy at the same time. Whilst a lot of songs evoke emotions of rising to the top, reaching the peak, and feelings of euphoria, to me this song emulates how it feels rising up from the bottom and looking up to what is to come.
