I cringed every time I saw you use the table saw. That will cut your hand off if you slip. Better to use a stick to push the wood.
ОтветитьWow that looks great
ОтветитьThis the best cleanest video I've seen. Nice job!
ОтветитьLoved seeing your wee boys helping so cute
ОтветитьSubscribed to your beautiful channel 😊
ОтветитьI saw this video a year ago and did our half bath room and it went great! The wife loves it so much that we are now doing a full bath in this style. Thanks so much for posting this!
ОтветитьWow. Nice work but very unsafe saw use.
ОтветитьMy man. Do you not what your hands? That’s a reckless way of cutting wood on that table saw. Get a microjig my dude.
ОтветитьYou should put plastic extenders for your electric box so you don’t have exposed wood beside your screws on your outlet. You never know if it would spark and ignite the wood. Most places it’s code. 👍🏻
ОтветитьTotally unfair to other YT creators who don't have the cute help you have!
ОтветитьGreat job
ОтветитьGreat result, awfully bad practice of cutting those boards without a push-stick.
ОтветитьWhat color is on the other walls?
ОтветитьGood Video, I like your approach slightly better than the first wall i did. Nearly the exact same as what I did. But Im doing a foyer in the home now and came across this video while recalling what wood I had used. And I'm also a DIY DAD,
Nice shirt
what size Nails ? 18g Brads ? how Long Matt ?
ОтветитьLoved everything until the painting 😩 wood should always be primed! Looks great just wish it was primed.
ОтветитьThat hand over hand cutting that plywood is a huge no no. Please don’t teach bad habits. SMH
ОтветитьMay I know the paint color and brand? It looks great
ОтветитьGreat job. Im really going to give this a try and just stain it in 2 or 3 shades to match our rustic looking living room here in NYC. Thanks for the awesome inspiration.
ОтветитьI am critiquing now, I liked your idea but;
1. I think dark gray took away from ship lap.
2. Do yo think if you cut 30-45 degree bevel if it would have same affect..
3. I agree with others, be more cautious..
4. Buy a longer level::)
Watching you on the table saw gave me the same feeling I get when someone scratches a chalkboard. Holy crap dude. Don't ever do that again.
ОтветитьHope you like your fingers.............
Wow
Love it! Beautiful job! You made it plain & simple....great diy video 👍♥️
ОтветитьNice job, but best part of this video is the cute baby at the end. 😂😊
ОтветитьYou can use Stodoys and plans. The best plans and very detailed instructions. You can learn a lot from them and do it yourself.
ОтветитьGonna lose a hand
ОтветитьMade my fingers ache
ОтветитьCan i ask why didnt you just do a 5" instead of 5-5/8 ? Just curious im going to attempt my dining room just one wall
ОтветитьHouse for bugs. Such a waste of time, money and energy. Not to mention putting wood on the walls then painting it like plastic from garbage bins.
ОтветитьI didn’t see where or how you did the grooves. Do you need to even rabbit or put grooves in?
ОтветитьGreat job!
ОтветитьIf you put your hands near the blade like that at the woodshop I worked at - you'd be fired before you finished the cut.
ОтветитьWhat is the 1/8 in groove for? Tank you.
ОтветитьIf you get underlayment the wood is beautiful and smooth on one side and its less than 14 dollars a sheet. No marks and no sanding needed. No knot holes either.
ОтветитьGreat job. Be careful with your metal tape measure next to the HOT screws on the outlet.
ОтветитьInteresting.
ОтветитьObviously this guy knows his hands are close to the blade. Thats his business. Everyone is so hyper sensitive these days. If he wants to cut his fingers off, thats his business. Im sure hes been doing this a while. Jesus.
ОтветитьDo you know if Home Depot would cut them for me?
ОтветитьGood job, but man practice some safety. Makes no sense to put a video out people are going to watch and learn to see the person doing the video putting there hand within an inch of a saw blade.
ОтветитьFantastic, because this is exactly what I thought of doing on my kitchen ceiling, along with some faux exposed rafters!
ОтветитьDo you a pre order on Amazon for some new fingers? Seems you don’t mind getting them cut off
ОтветитьNice job and thanks for the video. If you're going to paint over the woodgrain, then you might as well use something even cheaper like 1/4" MDF. You'll get the same look. It's a little lighter and easier to handle and it's cheaper.
ОтветитьWould you look at those baby feet! ❤️ Adorable! Thanks for the video.
ОтветитьA ton of my viewership on my shiplap video is sourced from this video, so thanks for sending them my way! Your method is way different but really cool, it's basically real shiplap but custom made. 🔥
ОтветитьYes! Yikes!
ОтветитьDumb shit..more time than brains
Ответитьholy fuck...so cringe watching you push those boards without a push block/stick...yikes!
ОтветитьWhen you spend a hundred hours to save a hundred bucks.
ОтветитьYikes, watch some table saw videos bro.
Ответитьthumbs up,,,,while you still can!!! i cringed seeing you put your grappers that close to a table saw blade. Nice video on how to make shiplap!!
