I think it's really strange how Maci is suddenly supportive of Ryan. I understand she didn't want him to OD, and she wants a good relationship for Bentley and him.. but she went years denying Bentley from seeing him while he was strung out. The dude violently trashed his wife's house, was physically/verbally abusive towards his wife and and is being a shit dad to his children... and she's hanging out with him? I feel bad for Mackenzie. You would think they would be more supportive of Mack and the kids... I expected more support from Maci and Ryan's parents.

Jen and Larry seem like nice people and they provided Ryan a great childhood.. a stable home, stable finances.. hopefully some emotional support. He has more than most people. They can't control his actions and decisions that he makes. Addiction is so tough. I do think that they have enabled him and they're filling the gaps in his role as a dad... as any grandparent would do. It's sad. I just hope they are there to try and support Mackenzie in the ways they did with Maci.
