Hello and a very good morning Mike and a short belated "Happy New Year" How very much I agree with you regarding the music of the 70's. I can add to that of the late 50's and certainly the 60's as well. The best music of my life. Now reaching the tender young age of 75, I play this great quality music all the time. The stars, bands, song writers, producers all had so much class! Thousands of these hits remind me of where I was, what I was doing at the time. It is so! so! sad with the passing of time such fantastic music will never be produced again at such high standards. Please pardon my analogy of today's music with no comparison of yesteryear, in a single word "CRAP" I remember when many bands would be jumping into Transit vans with all their equipment rushing off to carry out many gigs and hope they would be spotted and turned into great stars. It was hard, hard work at the time unlike everyone today wanting to start at the top without having to break out into a bead of sweat! I'll tell how great the 70s music still is. I raised 2 of my grandchildren that have most of it on their phone's now. They work at different places and at both places the co workers want them to play their music. At the grandson's work they brought speakers so everyone could hear it.
