... disappointment
ОтветитьThe best I’ve ever seen! Thanks 🙏
ОтветитьHi are he landing flatt foot.?
ОтветитьWhy a heavy rope for beginners, Thanks?
ОтветитьCant thank you enough for this video. I was getting frustrated bc exactly like you said I was trying to improve too fast vs starting slow and building up.
I just got my half lb rope in and immediately went from 2-3 skips with the Walmart rope to 10-20 skips with the half pounder. This is only my second week of jumping rope in my life so it's KILLING my ankles bc I'm so heavy but I'm making sure to stretch and keep good form.
Watched 10 other beginner videos, this was by FAR the BEST one! Thank you from a newbie want to jump rope woman!!
Loved the tutorial and I am excited to get started!!! YOU made it easy and sooo motivational!
Is this for older adults. I’m 59 and overweight
Ответитьgreat teacher! thank s man,-may the Lord Bless you!
ОтветитьExcellent beginner video out there. I have ordered my heavy set and subscribed. What time counter are using on your phone. Cheers
ОтветитьGreat beginner workout! I have no jump rope experience and this workout has helped me so much. Some helpful suggestions for the community:
1. Get the 1lb Crossrope and Power Handles. The heavier rope makes it easier to go slow and helps with overall awareness for the rope/your jumps.
2. Substitute regular jumps in place of alternate step jumps during the workout. Once I get a solid foundation of doing reg jumps then I’ll start incorporating alt step jumps in the workout.
3. Keep doing it! Jumprope is a skill to be learned, it’s going to take time. Do this workout at your own pace 5-7 times per week.
4. See the first suggestion. If you can swing the cost, the Crossrope is worth it. I would of given up by now if I tried to learn with a regular weight rope. The Crossrope was hands down the best piece of fitness equipment I’ve ever purchased.
I still cannot do alternative foot
ОтветитьThis is the real deal...thanks 🇯🇲
ОтветитьI have been looking for a video like this!!! Thank you soo much!
ОтветитьThis is impossible :( Day 2
Ответитьoh that jumprope is interesting
ОтветитьThank you. This is the best beginner video and helped me the most by far.
ОтветитьI use the crossrope app, alternative step seem like you lean from side to side?
ОтветитьSo easy to understand and follow. Thank you for this awesome tutorial!💜💜💕
ОтветитьWhen you say heavy for beginners, do you mean 1/4, 1/2 or 1 lb?
ОтветитьWhich timer he is using?
ОтветитьReally, Is no one commenting that they want you to pay close to $100 for a skipping rope? Great racket you've got there.
ОтветитьNot easy to make a 10 minute video with little mistakes 👏
ОтветитьAwesome tips and instruction, thank you very much!
ОтветитьI started off with an old guitar cable cos I couldn't afford professional skipping rope.
ОтветитьI bought 'Crossropes' but have struggled (yes I'm overweight) now I've seen this I'm going to give it another go ... looks much easier
ОтветитьOk! Gotta get a crossrope, right!
ОтветитьWhat's the weight shown? The video is 4 years old (per/2021) and features an orange-colored rope. The color codes have changed since then. What weight was "orange" four years ago?
ОтветитьPlease tell me what EXACT Crossrope you’re using? The “Beginner” set looks like a lightweight rope. TIA
ОтветитьCross ropes just told me they NEVER recommend heavy ropes for beginners. What should I buy?
ОтветитьWhat is name of the music in the background?
ОтветитьI was looking at the JRD ‘beginners’ workout ... but think I’m going to try this first thanks. Update: Tried this workout this morning, I have a Crossrope get lean set ... the heaviest rope (1/2lb) is not heavy enough to turn as slow this ... not even close. Think if you want to do it at this speed the 1lB is the way to go.
ОтветитьI just bought my 1lb jump rope. I’m excited!
ОтветитьIt seems very good i will try. My problems are my knee. They pain so much some times
Ответитьi just got my crossrope two days ago and have been practicing, I grew up in Brooklyn NY and was always jumping rope as a kid, now i'm46, its not nearly as easy lol but i'm keeping at it! I am going to order one for my almost 14 year old son bec he's of course taller than me. I started with the 1/4 rope and found it easier but taking others' advice switched to the 1/2 but trip up more? I should have watched this first bec I started jumping fast off the bat. I will restart using these tips here! thank you!
ОтветитьJust got my get fit bundle today and tried them. And for those asking which to get for beginners, in my "beginner" opinion, get the lean set first.
I was able to do this slow jumps with the 1/2lb rope without any problem and for longer periods. I was able to do it (just a tad better) with the 1lb rope but the problem is, since im new to this, the rope seems a little heavy for me and made me tire more easily which resulted in less jumps than the other. Since we are beginners, i think our goal is to improve our jump skills then do as much jumps as we can, and the get lean is enough for that. I dont think i will be using my get strong set just yet and concentrate on the 1/2lb for the time being until im confident enough with my skills.
Also for those wondering if its worth buying or just opt for a cheaper set, as for me, i tried 3 jump ropes and i can only do about 25 jumps before i trip, and i cant do slow jumps with those. But with crossrope, omg, i will die out of breath first before i trip 😂 i dont know why but its awesome. Feels like a pro in an instant!
I used to jump rope all the time.
ОтветитьThank you!!!!
ОтветитьMixed instructions from Crossrope and instructors, some say lighter ropes for beginners some say heavy ropes? I guess just buy them all and figure it out for yourself.
ОтветитьThank you for the tutorial, I have just purchased a weighted rope, I have often tried to skip with the cheap plastic ones from sporting goods stores but kept tripping over the rope in barely 30 seconds . My aim is to get to a 3 minute non stop with 1 minutes rest like a boxer . I can do just over 30 seconds with weighted rope , first used today
ОтветитьI have a speed rope. I've had it for years. Just doing the basic jumps for now since I can't do the alternate steps. Thanks for this tutorial.
ОтветитьWatched about 10 or more beginner jump rope tutorials. This is the best for one who is beginning to jump.
ОтветитьI recently started jumping rope. Is it wrong/bad that I prefer to jump with the boxer jump rope stance as opposed to this way?
ОтветитьOMG THE BEST ADVICE ON HOW TO BEGIN!!! (Or begin again ... in my case) I am definitely one of those folks trying too do much TOO FAST. 😟 Thank you ssssssoooooo much for sharing ❤
ОтветитьI'm an over the road truck driver and was looking for stuff I could take with me on the road to exercise in our near the truck without taking up much space as there's not much in just a semi. I just ordered the strong set with 1lb and 2lb rope to get started.
ОтветитьThis guy is saving my fat ass. The doctor told me I was borderline diabetic, and with a fatty liver. I lost 12 lbs. Now if he only sold glue to shut my mouth- so I could leave the fridge alone... Thanks and great product.
ОтветитьExcited to try this! How many cycles are good for a beginner?
ОтветитьThe website says that beginners should start with the lean set but all your videos say to start with the 1 lbs rope. Crossrope is all over the place
