Brings back memories. 20 years ago I was on one of those trains. We were all waiting to go through the gate when a panic set it and people started climbing over the fence to get on the train. The gate agents tried stopping people but it got insane and people started pushing through the gate without showing their tickets and kept climbing over the fence. People were still exiting the train while people were pushing to get on the train. Train agents were fighting a losing battle trying to stop people. I was lucky since I found a stepping stool to site on at the end of the car. A woman who had a seat insisted on having her umbrella ☂️ open while sitting in her seat. A huge argument broke out between her and the conductor. They pulled her out of her seat and she ended up by me in the isle with no seat. Luckily the sold beer and snacks so I was good but the train was packed with standing room only.

So, I think what underlines this appalling situation, is rampant corruption and fraud at every level apart from the top CCP guns who are making a killing out of their citizens. Soon, the cities will be empty and those who live there will be forced to return to the land to scrape a living. Sounds like the spirit of Mao Ze Dung is repeating itself. The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer and eventually starve to death. That, plus no more babies being born….
