Dark Souls Remastered - Pyromancer Knight Build (PvP/PvE)

I do one Dark Souls run each year, and you always gives me a build to try. Thanks !

I like this build (haven't tried it yet) but what do I do when fighting against fire resistant enemies/ bosses in PvE ? Instead of the Chaos Zweihander , what can I use on NG ? I know you only get 1 Zweihander per playthrough and a Lightning infused Rapier isn't going to do great damage late game in PvE .

every single opponent: "Now's the perfect time to start rolling randomly near him BEFORE he even throws the Orb! Whoops, I rolled in to the lava/projectile itself? Guess I'll die then."

So idk if you're ever gonna read this but:

On my first playthrough/character I didn't know how scaling works, so I just leveled to base requirements for the Zweihänder and went for vitt/end after that until about level 50/60. At that point I felt like I was doing way to little damage so I looked up how scaling works. There I thought that this character was a lost cause and started an other character, this time with a built in mind, to finish the game.

Years later, looking through builds for my next playthrough I came across your video and realized my first attemed had almost the perfect foundation for this, even got the hood! So I adjusted my equipent and playstyle and BOOM! Second coming of Gwyn! Right now I'm tearing through NG+ with my first ever Dark Souls character and it's super gratifying!

It all came full circle thanks to you taking the time to make this guide and showecasing tactics and it made me super happy!

Because DS1 famously actually doesn't have s pyromsncy spell that buffs your melee weapon with fire damage. Unless they included that in the remaster?

Dude, I use this biuld but the chaos storm does not have the range that you get in your video. I've test it out from the same spots and it covers less dintance. Do you know if they nerfed that?

I use black iron set +5, demons great machete +15, great shield +5, with the pyro spells iron flesh, power within and toxic mist, my rings are the FaP and the steel ring. 30VIT,40STR,41END, and 22 resistance.
I know people shit on the resistance stat but it’s a good way to boost all around defense.

Yo man I know it probably won't happen but can you do full walkthrough for each class? I want to know how do u navigate to get things.

This is actually how I'm building my first character.

I know I have been asking loads of questions so i do apologise xD but this is (probably) one of the last questions. Do u have to use Zweihander? or can u use the black knight greatsword (or swords like that). does it have to be ultra great sword or could u use normal greatswords or maybe even straight sword? just asking cuz as u said in the vid zwei is super slow with the swings and is super vulnerable to backstabs

Also is their different type of armor which could look more like cosplay? idk like an armor which would look more the part for a pyro knight? (im being to aethsetic i know xD)

I wanted to ask though if its possible to get a build like this earlier
in the game? like how could u adapt it to lower levels? Do you think its
a good idea to switch out the Zweihander for Quelaag's Furysword
