You are one funny mech, Scotty, keep up the good works. I hope you can assist me here. My 2009 FX35 rwd, suv, needs DIFF. BUSHING. Can you say which is the best fit avail., in the after market. Infinti wants to replace the whole rear sub frame, and do not sell the diff. bushing separately. What a bunch of crooks. Your reply will be appreciated. thnx.
ОтветитьI have a 2013 370z Nismo. Bought it in 2012 w/ 5 miles out the lot. Now it's at 225K miles. I go thru a set of tires a yr. I take it camping, go thru snow (light), take it on really bad dirt roads, packed lumber in it, and long road trips. It's my daily commuter as well. Still has the original suspensions. I red line the car almost every time getting on the freeway. Lots of fun zipping thru curves in the hills/mountains. I drove it over 100miles the 1st day I bought it and took it up to 110mph the 2nd day (which you should not do with new cars). I'm surprise the engine & car lasted this long. It had a blown head gasket for about a yr now, so I am replacing it at the moment. I'm not a mechanic nor have experience with car engines. Hope it turns on after I put it all back together.
ОтветитьI have had a 370Z Nismo from 129 miles off new for 5 years (paid £30K for it ). Great old fashioned analog sports car with hydraulic steering, manual gearbox, and NA engine. Still absolutely cannot be beaten for “fun per buck” as my American cousins would say 👍🏻
ОтветитьNever had a problem with mines and its been 5 years lol just got new tires 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьMine 2013 with almost 200k miles, i replaced the water pump and went with EPS gaskets galleries and only thing i wish i replaced is oil pump even through it had nothing wrong with it...just it really cant withstand over 7000rpm. If you drive normally and rarely ever track or do any "spirit driving" it's really reliable and might even last forever
ОтветитьInfiniti g37 and g35 also has same engine as the Zs, granted no manual
ОтветитьUgh I have a
09 nissan 370 with 17k miles and my 5th gear is already grinding, first gear is sticking.. I took it to a trans shop, I changed gear oil to redline MT hoping it would help.. but it feels worse…. Now I’m trying to figure out if I want to rebuild it, buy a used trans or a brand new trans..
Americans buy boring, ugly, box cars because they feel the need to have "a" car as opposed to getting something nice and fancy. Europeans tend to take transportation if they can't afford the car they want as opposed to buying a used, endless money pit.
ОтветитьI love Z cars
ОтветитьGreat video! I owned a Base 2010 370z in my early 20's and had dreamed of a z car my entire life. It was an awesome car, but I really couldn't afford it at the time. I had to learn a valuable lesson about being impulsive and taking on ridiculous monthly payments. After 12 years, I'm looking to pick up another 370z and am excited to get behind the wheel again.
ОтветитьPoke a hole in the gauges there with your finger 😂 what do you expect Scotty it's like a sewing machine it's a foreign vehicle that is junk it's a Nissan what do you expect with low power
ОтветитьThat’s not a heads up display.
ОтветитьOnly children drive these.
ОтветитьWhy are yanks so embarrassing loud ?
Ответитьhave a 2009 and man this car is hella reliable
Ответитьany 2013 370z issues i need to look out for
Ответитьi love that 😂 dontwrap it around the tree
Ответитьpffft, the new z's can be tuned to be substantially faster. and most of the z's have sold, and some at huge markups. they just didn't produce many of them and the dealers have marked them up.
ОтветитьLots of noise, that little lady bug just wants to be a diesel.
ОтветитьThe only time scotty was wrong, the new z are everything people wanted the problem with the new z is that nissan only made 30,000 for the world and the very few that arrived in the US are marked up by 10-20k.
ОтветитьI've been driving my 370 6 speed daily 80 miles to work one way for a year. No issues.
ОтветитьI work at a few dealerships every day Nissan is one of them. The New Z sells out pretty quick when a Manual comes in. The automatics sit though especially with the markups they want. Dealers used to give incentives to buy new now they want you to pay extra lol
Ответитьeven if i had unlimited money, i would still buy this car. 370z 350z nismo, whatever. anyone you cant go wrong with. its fast. its reliable if well maintained, its a good value for what you get, its manual, drifts, and most importantly its great looking. only thing is its more of my style right now, as a younger guy. when im 5 years older i'd probably get something with 4 doors.
ОтветитьI haga a 370z and have a code p2a00 code that I can’t get rid of.
ОтветитьLove my 350z I'm getting 370 next i really dont like 400 they should have left the bodystyle alone.
ОтветитьWait, how is the 370z the biggest pos ?
Ответитьi bought mine with 154k miles, 2009
non a single engine noise, not a missing bolt or plastic all over the car, good maintenance wull keep them alive for years
This is not a large mass produced car! There are more sentras, rogues, muranos,Altima, and maximas! Coupe cars are not bread and butter for a company, suv, trucks, and four doors are how a car company makes a profit
Ответить370Z/Z34 are amazing!!!
ОтветитьRunning obd at all times does absolutely nothing. You can run gauges from it or whatever you want. I watch live days for fuel trims and 02 levels.
ОтветитьI was lucky to buy my z from an old man too that loves cars. He was the GM at nissan dealership. 115k miles still great
Ответитьall the 2-seater fans bought motorcycles 😂
ОтветитьPos. I own a vq
The trans is the problem. What a pos
Why are yanks so LOUD !!!!!!
ОтветитьI took my '05 350Z in for service a few months ago and when I got back home, some salesman told me he'd give me a great deal on one of the new ones. I told him mine's been paid off for years, so unless he's giving me a new one for free it doesn't sound like much of a deal. And I've yet to see one of the new ones on the roads out here yet.
Ответитьthe heads can be repair if your teck / engine machine shop is competent in the field
ОтветитьThr new z price tags were insane. I saw them for 60gs
ОтветитьI've NEVER seen this geezer actually like any car lol. Every single thumbnail is "pos, don't buy".
ОтветитьI had a g37 for 110kmiles.
I ripped that thing daily.
Sold it for a good price
I now regret selling it.
It was a IPL with red seats and manual. ;(
I got the new 400Z Sport and it is by far the best car I've had. Even though it's really just a 370Z with a new power plant and a facelift. I still love the thing. 6 speed manual, lightest weight car I've ever driven, rear wheel drive, two seats, twin turbos... This thing can hang with a scat pack so I'm happy with it.
ОтветитьHad a 2007 Solar Orange 350z and I freaking loved that car. My biggest complaint was the lack of torque. Super interested in the new Nissan Z's with their 400hp TT and tons of torque!
ОтветитьI have an 09 370z that I daily drive to work. Been mine for 6 or 7 years. I love this car. Going to repaint it and keep it for as long as I can. I hate digital cars.
ОтветитьI finally saw a new Z at my local nissan dealer when I went to pick up some lugs and studs (don't ask, just thinking about it makes me angry) for my 370z. It's okaaaaaaay I guess. The aesthetics are really not very attractive when compared to just about any other competing vehicle at or under that price point, but I think where they really went wrong is when they missed the MSRP by like 25 GRAND compared to the announced estimated cost months before launch. I would have probably traded for one months ago, but I can install a twin turbo on the 370z I already fully own for less and net more power. Even in California there's a CARB TT kit. The new Z is competing with the last model and failing in price to performance. It's really hard to watch.
ОтветитьThe engine in the new Z is the VR30DDTT, in use by Nissan since 2016, by multiple cars, like always. It's fine.
ОтветитьIm following scotty.
ОтветитьNaw this old dude funny as hell! 😂😂
ОтветитьWhat system is that for the center panel? Mine is still a radio/cd player on a 2012 and I’m looking to upgrade to something modern
ОтветитьGuys- I don’t think Scotty ever mention the year. He did say ‘these are good, especially this year”. What year is it, or range? I’m looking for a convertible so I was researching 2010-18
ОтветитьLol the picture in the thumbnail got me scared. 😂
