Hutsuls are not an ethnic minority. This phrasing puts them as a separate ethniticity, while in fact hutsuls are a part of the ukrainian nation. It's called subethnicity. Like lemko or boiko, etc.

My husband and I raised fiber animals in Northern Michigan for years. (Sheep, angora goats and rabbits, llamas) My father made hand-cards and spindles of various types. (Supported spindles, drop spindles, top and bottom whorl) and I had wheels and looms for spinning and did felt and full some of my work. It was WONDERFUL to see traditional techniques from across the world and yet have it look so familiar. Thank you for sharing and God bless.
