hey, nice guide. Just wanted to add that reverberation gloves combined works wonders with lightning orbs with anything that multihits. I pretty much used that with scorching ray / eldritch blasts to carry me through most of the game

Sparkle Hands also work with throwing attacks. They are not just monk gloves and arguably the most popular Karlach build in the game uses these as a mainstay.

While I never made an encrusted frost build, the mourning frost made me respec from sword bard to an cold-damage dealing lore bard

A question about heat that i can't find an answer to anywhere. Is the damage you take from having heat per stack of heat, so you take 1d4 for every stack, or is it a flat 1d4 for having heat and the number of stacks doesn't matter.

you telling me to like and subscribe is the fastest way for me to NOT do that.

A few words 1. Reverberation,2. The crossbow you can buy that inflicts reeling,3. Cloak that everytime your attacked by someone with reverberation they have to pass a con check or be knocked prone using this combo my oath of vengeance paladin has become a death dealing nightmare

After i got the frost staff I immediately respec'd gale to a cold focused wizard and from that point on every high level spell slot was used on either cone of cold or ice storm. Between that and my warlock's knockback eldritch blast nobody ever got into melee range, only ever struggled with other spellcasters (specifically those 4 mindflayers in that last fight for the crown that love to spam magic missile)

I had a Fighter/Paladin with the Radiant Orb gear, and it felt really busted.

A bonus for the Encrusted with frost build. In act 2 you can find the Icebite Robe which gives you a free cast of Armor of Agathys, which deals cold damage when attacked. Personally I’m using the build on a Circle of Spores druid, Symbiotic Entity allows me for a sturdier Armor of Agathys and Shillelagh allows me to use Mourning Frost as a melee weapon as well!

Okay, man, I love this game a lot, but its character customization is ABSOLUTELY barebones, and extremely disappointing. I genuinely can't think of games that have a weaker character customizer. Like, yes, there's a bunch of hairstyles, and color options for eyes and shit, but that's...about it? Hell, at least I hoped for more than "few face presets", when it comes to face customization. It's a bit annoying to play my High Elf character, and meet yet ANOTHER NPC who looks exactly like me, with a different hair. (and High Elves don't even have facial hair, so the face is all the more noticeable)

I'm not sure why, but the Studio Ghibli music is cracking me up. Thanks for highlighting these item synergies.

As soon as you mentioned Envenom/Poison, I knew I was gonna watch the whole video. I built an entire character around implementing and improving poison interaction after I found Cruel Sting in Act 2. So, let's get put the checklist and see which items you guys mention that I had to hunt down without help. 🤣

You'll notice some of these aren't directly related to Poison/Envenom, but my character was a Drow Beast Master with a Giant Wolf Spider companion, so they all serve a purpose.

Ooh, Thorn Blade. Nice. Also, I love the Poisoner's Robes, but they aren't very practical on a Ranger. Even for one who is a Spider Knight like my guy.

can you show me a build that most efficiently usees the blood of lethander as a throwing weapon and specifically utilizing light as a damaging source or buff/debuff. Im hoping that you pick up this build because i know there are lots of light related items but to the best of my knowledge if you wanna throw lethanders light (i do via tav brawler) then you would have to be a Eldredge knight to bond it to return so thats where you come in . Come on i know you can blow this idea up lol thanks bro

for the radiant orb build...use admantine shield for reeling when they miss. and boots of stormy clamor. So your gloves and boots add reverb, and your holy lance helm/chest stacks orbs, then the ring of mental fatigue, gives 2 mental fatigue when they fail a save(they save from reverb and they save from luminous helm, and they save from 5 stacks of orbs. Blood of lathander is lame.

I play this build with 22 ac, and blur, and nothing ever hits me, and everything kills itself. it's very hilarious. If something misses an attack, then fails it's save, thats 6 stacks of reverb and they fall prone. lol

you can also add arcane synergy ring, and necklace of elemental augmentation, so as an EK, you cantrip, which add your int to dmg, then you main attack, which adds your int to attack. Or, you can use a different necklace and just use true strike as your cantrip to trigger arcane synergy.

The superhealer build is actually a bit deeper. Sure there are the 2 healing rings, but there's also:

- Wapira's Crown
- Hellrider's Pride
- Periap of Wound Closure
- Boots of aid and comfort

It is actually very good, especially if you pair it with a Life Cleric that has the Awakened illithid power so you can do Health Transfuse as a bonus action.

Basically you play it in a way where you pay life to heal someone as a bonus action, then top off yourself and others with either the Life Cleric's own ability or with mass healing word on your next turn.

Periap also makes all your potions heal the max amount, so you can pay life and then heal to full next turn with a Greater Healing Potion.

Any weapon works, but Blood of Lathander is good. Adamant Shield is pretty good too.

Radiating Orb and Reverberation you can build together. Running around with Spirit Guardians stacking both conditions. It's crazy

Chilled + water = guaranteed frozen

Hello Ronin. I'm following your EK frost build. (Loving it) I'm a bit confused. I'm working on getting the mourning frost staff. I took the dueling feat as suggested. Will I still get the +2 to weapon if I'm using the staff and shield?
