How I became a Mountaineer! My first 4000er Summit!

Last year I climbed Mount Lhotse, the fourth highest mountain in the world right next to Mount Everest, solo without supplementary oxygen.

But eventually I also had to start mountaineering some day and climb my first mountain and gather my first experiences in the alps.

In this videoseries I share my journey, how I became a mountaineer, how I learned about connectin with friends, finding climbing partners, reading maps, and judging the weather, reflect on mistakes and how to become a better mountaineer.

The most important thing in life is to find your passion and I give a little glimpse how I approached that.

This is part three of my mountaineering journey how I started as a beginner and how I traveled all alone to Morocco to the high Atlas and climbed Jbel Toubkal. At this time I am still an amateur a rookie and I eventually ended up climbing 8000er mountains solo without supplementary oxygen.
