Not sure if what I am going to say is true, perhaps someone here can confirm it. I heard Hitler believed in his racial theory till the end. The death machine of the extermination never stopped or paused. Even when it was clear that all is lost. Also he made a conclusion that if the Slavs are winning then they are above the germanic race. Instead of making a conclusion that the whole framework is flawed (to say the least) he still operated within that framework. The Germams did not deserve to live accordong to his opinion of last days because they lost proving that they are in fact subhuman.

It took me well over a week, to watch the 17 episodes, up to this point. Being intrigued by the Patriotic War, these episodes went into greater detail. The best was breaking down officers involved on both sides, while keeping up surviving observations. A Russian documentary, with all the warts on. Most marvelous job.

I am not a fan of Russians or communists, but in those days, between Moscow and Berlin, a river o blood was left by the Red Army to achieve that victory. The history recorded 27 million of deaths of soviet people, but what has not recorded was the unimaginable suffer and sacrifice. Hell is an amusement park next to that. Another thing is that, after the war, the Hell has continued under Stalin rule.

No way there one milion german soldiers between the soviets and Berlin. The Seelow Heights line was the last redoubt of defense before the german capital, and only 100 thousand germans defended it. Not one milion, not even close. That’s just soviet propaganda.

The most important thing is the soveit army interning the capital of Girmans for the second time and the Girmans surrounding and show the white flags from every window they never try to do like people of Russia in Stalin grad or linengrad people who make those vedeos are not good

A really great series. What a shame, and a triumph of barbarism, that the outcome of this war against nazism should extend into the 21st century, and give the soviets the mindset that they can still send their military illegally into a neighbouring state in a 'patriotic war'.
