An after-thought. I think it moved you because somehow you can feel what it's saying to you.
This is a rough translation:
Thina siyazalana mama (we come from the same womb/ we're one blood)
Mntana kamama (my mother's child)
Ufik' izolo umntana kamama (he arrived just yesterday, my mother's child)
Now you know Africa has sent you a message😀
Bro, Africa is the littest place.

ОтветитьUnity starts with uniform in our schools, those school uniforms hides our struggles as we come from different backgrounds, it makes us more one as we see each other as equals and pursuing the same goal which is education. Im glad we didn't adopt the American school style of casual clothings. Rise Africa!
ОтветитьI'm south African and your reaction made me cry... Most of our schools are like this...true South Africans are everything but racists we respect each other here. The most beautiful people in the world! We not perfect but we try. 😂
ОтветитьBro. these schools have a very strong established "Old Boys" society that are very involved with the schools administration and up keep, funding millions back into their former schools. They network and favor "Old Boys" in Corporates, Industries, Careers and Work placements well after leaving. That take care of their own, have a deep loyalty and bond no matter where they go throughout the world. Maritzburg College has the "O.C." Old College tight affiliations. No outsiders...
ОтветитьAt the heart of our nation is true fellowship and love one to another yet, there is always elements of hate and racial forces pushing against True unity. Sad thing is we have so much more potential unity irrespective of skin colour.🇿🇦💪🇿🇦
ОтветитьJa bro. It's lit. But is not recent. Many of these schools are private or Model C privilege schools AKA "Ivy League". And their heritage and history date back to the earlier centuries. Lots if pride and comradery in these All Boys schools. I got 2 boys at Maritzburg College. Check their war cries and "Shouts" as it is otherwise known. Totally insane brotherhood of all skin colours.👏🇿🇦👏💪
ОтветитьSouth African high schools are just the best. They have always been. Generations to generation. Man I love my country ❤🇿🇦
ОтветитьThat's why we are called Rainbow 🌈 nation🇿🇦🇿🇦
ОтветитьI’m a South African…this is like…every time I hear a war cry now all I can think about is like…I did this when I was a kid…
ОтветитьThe school you mainly see in this video in the black and white uniform is called Hilton collage the most expensive school in KZN
ОтветитьHey, I'm deeply touched by this too. The unity among South African school kids, regardless of race, is truly powerful. It's a reminder that we shouldn't allow politics or biased media narratives to influence our perspectives. Seeing those kids holding hands, playing together, and showing genuine affection is a poignant example of a South Africa worth striving for.
ОтветитьOur diversity makes us unique as South African.
ОтветитьWe don't do war cries for chess matches 😂
Ответитьhave to say when you play a beat her like ima piano we go off like crazy one kid at my school got flung bc we got so hyped for a rugby game against northcliff bc they suck bc
ОтветитьMy school would never😭😭😭
ОтветитьCome to south Africa but don't go to Johannesburg
ОтветитьThis is so amazing how school kids from different race stand together and have warfair cries to GOD and to express theyre feelings it make me so proud wish the government can stand in unity to GOD like that and South- Africa could be the land of milk and honey again.
ОтветитьWow ! ❤ looks really nice very spirited 😎✔️✌️
ОтветитьBro you have no idea. Us South Africans have spirit like no other
ОтветитьI am a grandma but this brought tears into my eyes.Used right, this could actually unite scholars and schools, lower crime rate in schools and gangsterism. That's just how I feel.

ОтветитьAs a South African, Only thing I’m sad about is that you didn’t hear Felisha 😂😂
ОтветитьYep, every year inter-schools were a big thing. Lead up to it was always like this. I remember it all still vividly. We also had ''colour (color) athletics'' each year. You were divided into groups: Yellow, Red, Blue etc and they become your team. Each team's buildup to the athletics day will also look like this. On the day of the athletics, you earn points for your group/team depending on how many sports you take part in. The team/group with the most points at the end of the day wins.
