Perception Neuron 3 Review

Hi, you said the glove is $600, but now when I go to the website, it's $1499, do you have any ideas where did the PN3 Gloves go?

Problem is that perception neuron 3 is like 3400$ for 17 trackers and the old perception neuron 32 v2 was 32 trackers with hands for like 1500-2000$.
They are really milking the people by having the 32 discontinued in order for people to pay more than double and even triple if you add gloves.. Very ''slimy'' decision in my opinion, not to mention that gyroscopes are cheap as hell to make.The price doesnt make sense.Yet, im against the wall for a project and the choice will be either a v3 suit with no hands or the ipsoft with a few kinects.That one is a also expensive but can actually handle 3 people and mocap looks to be on par with the perception neuron if im not mistaking.

How about Rokoko Pro 2, have you tested it too?

Thanks for the review. I was really curios about how PN 3 would perform especially with magnetic interference. How would you compare it to xsens awinda starter version ($4000ish now right?). I have the standard awinda system n works great

I should be getting my PN3 next week. I see that it has the option to export a Mixamo skeleton. Has anyone tried that with the Mixamo addon in Blender?
Another question, I want to do some creature mocap with it. For things like Planet of the Apes, they used limb extensions for the actors to get closer to the body proportions of an ape. Is it possible to attach the arm sensors to something like a pair of crutches and then in the software make it think I have extra-long arms?

Would you say the xsense quality is better? I mean the HD processing.

i have v1 32 sensor. it's quite janky. Not sure why the sensors can't hold a solid data connection. Kinda annoying.
