RCA to Optical (SPDIF - TosLink - Digital Audio Out)

Hello,

I have an old TV which have only RCA inputs and 2 HDMI's (NOT ARC), and I have a soundbar with two inputs only Optical and HDMI ARC.

Can I put my ps4 on HDMI 1 and get sound from the soundbar using this converter? if I connect the soundbar to the tv with this converter using RCA and optical cables?

Hi there, finally found some more than great info. Is is better to hook via Optical or HDMI my speakers/classic amp to a smart TV? I've seen both your videos on the RCA to Optical converter and RCA to HDMI - thank you!
