In Poland they have cameras to charge cars going through the tolls so why not lots of speed cameras like France and Britain. No need to actually chase a speeder. In France they are not obvious, they can be part of the central barrier. In Britain they are painted bright yellow except when on the motorways, then first you know of it is the fine coming through the letter box. It is not the state of the roads, we have pot holes like that in Britain, it is the lunatic driving. When it rains sensible drivers slow down.

Good grief, 68km/h over the speed limit and he gets to pay HALF on the spot and carry on. In several Canadian provinces, 50k over the limit gets you an immediate 1 week license suspension on the spot, your car is impounded, you get a $1,400 fine (NO discounts), and you have to go for a hearing where a judge can (usually will) suspend your license for 6 months to a year. They also make you take a safe driving course, you lose many license points, and have to pay much higher insurance premiums and driver's licence fee. Very shocked by the leniency shown in Spain.

Many, many years ago I was reading the truck news when in the USA. I read a story of a crash in Texas where a semi truck crossed the median and crashed into 2 vehicles killing 8 people. The driver of the semi truck was a polish immigrant that had been switching companies frequently. They found bottles of pills in his truck and there was also anti schizophrenic drugs that were so powerful they are not even available in the USA, he was getting them mailed to him. I live here in Canada and I once had 4 skids of pharmaceuticals for children put on my truck by mistake. I had picked up the pills near Tacoma Washington but the shipper made a mistake and they were to stay in the USA because they were too powerful for children in Canada under our standards. So if the USA has high levels of potency and the drugs found in the Polish drivers truck were illegal because of their high potency then I can see the death and accident rate being high

I’m polish. Living in uk for last 20 years , going to Poland every year , so I can tell the difference, you putting in this vid guys who drift during night is so misleading, those guys are the safest drivers on road , the accidents you show are mainly, tired drivers (HGV) and people who use freaking phones while driving. That also includes HGV drivers . This it the most common reason for accidents, vid like this one is a BS because you can create a video compilation for every country . However I agree, it’s about sentiment, how drivers are trained from the get go. Bear in mind , poland come out of socialist regime and most of those people still think is a Wild West on roads. Yes alcohol is an issue , but newer generations are smarter than people born in 70/80. In uk we still got problems with drug misuse and alcohol misuse but punishments are much more severe. It’s just a matter of time when things are gonna be better. This is only my opinion. I wish you all : be safe on roads and have a great day every day:)

When I watch how these Polish roads are designed, how narrow they are, no shoulder where to escape or park in case of emergency what so ever, and mix the traffic of small vehicle and commercial heavy duty trucks just illustrate that those jokes we used to hear when we were kids about Polish people lack of intelligence may not be jokes at all, wow this is crazy in that whole country no engeneer could look at this design and say folks this not going work!?, or predict the outcome, Wow! I am speechless!

I recently drove twice from Belgrade to Katowice. So, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech and Poland. Along the way (about 1.000km) 99% of vehicles were driving perfectly and i felt fully safe, except in my country - Serbia. Belgrade and many roads across a country are a true hazard and it's very easy to be in a situation in which you don't want to be in. Safe drive to all drivers.

its not with road conditions , if you will compare your road and our road here in the philippines , your road is 1000X much good and nicer, but yet we dont have too much accidents like what in europe. So it depends on the driver discipline on the road , so it means europian drivers lack with discipline to be honest , and also the regulatory sectors on the speed limit should need to lower down the speed limit of that highway to reduce the risk of undiscipline europian drivers.

This narrator is pretty biased against drivers. I like the they are responsible for over ten % of accidents 😂 opposed to 90% caused by lunatic four wheelers who taunt us on the highways daily. Refusing to yield, brake checking us, and speeding etc etc etc etc etc.

Motorcyclists who split lanes at high speed are jerks being jerks and should be given jail time for violations. The bigger problem is commuters who really aren't motorcyclists. They learn to manipulate the machine out of necessity for affordable transportation, but they don't actually know "how to ride". This accounts for rapid increase in accidents and death.

2024 lots of things changed in Bulgaria.
Also the bus that crashed in Bulgaria was full with foreigners coming back from a holiday. The driver misunderstood the laybay segregated area as he was not used to the Bulgaria. Roads so the bus crashed in the separation zone but then the roadside metal brackets were not strong enough to hold the bus and it have plonged in a valley and the fire then took its tall.

In Bulgaria the tail gating is the worst....

We have visited Poland before in Warsaw…the way they drive in Poland… they can not do that in Canada…speeding… tailgating… and stupidity is against the traffic law….so many lives are wasted in Poland because of stupidity in speeding…ok… speed up to go to hell…140 km… is a sign of stupidity… who ever running your transportation system is crazy.
