My brother spends his whole life having to correct the spelling of his name, people do all sorts: filip, fillip, filipp, fillipp, philip, phillip, philipp, phillipp, filipe, fillipe, filippe, fillippe, philipe, phillipe, philippe, phillippe. and yet if he just says his name is phil then suddenly everyone can agree on the spelling 🤣

The school I work at, I have: Bryan, Brian, Brayan, Braian
There are in one room I teach, Sara and Sarah. Also I do have Felipe, Filipe, Filipi, Philipe, Phellipe

this segment never gets old. Always has me in stitches no matter how many times I see it

Because I have an English accent they always assume that it’s spelled: Stuart 😊

My friend drew a charcter and she named her Jenny but when she spelt it out it said Jeni, I went crazy asking why the Y is nessary and she just said its unique!

Sara is actually pronounced like Tara, Cara, Lara etc. Sarah is a completely different pronunciation. Regards Sara not Sarah.

I could relate to this one. I always get asked if I spell my name with an I or Y. neither, it's Brandee. I smile thinking how he'd pronounce them.

It's like you really wanted the name but it's taken so you put in something that sounds the same.

The town I grew up in was small. We only had 7 kids in my grade, and 3 of us were named Brandon, except one was spelled Branden. This poor soul has had to spell his name when telling it to people his entire life, I will never do that to my children.

This is a huge problem with the spelling of Kaitlin, Kaitlyn, Catlin or Catlyn.
