Rail Around New South Wales 2024 - Autumn (1 HOUR)

Welcome to the first RANSW video for 2024 covering steam trips and rail heritage events during the Autumn of 2024. We see 3265 from the Powerhouse Museum in action on the main line along with 3526 while 3001 dressed as Donald took part of Day Out With Thomas for 2024 at Thirlmere. We see 6029 takes passengers to Thirlmere's NSW Rail Museum during the Easter long weekend and the 2024 Thirlmere Festival of Steam which, for the first time, was held in the month of May instead of March. Then we see 5917 making trips to Kiama with the ever popular Picnic Train service and we take a look around the Tank Annex building at the former Chullora Railway Workshops where Transport Heritage NSW's Heritage Hub is taking shape.
