Are all oleds so dark though??

It looks almost to over saturated... ALMOST. But I have never owned a oled I'm still on a lg uq7070zud half ass tv.

I bought a s95c and I'm happy with the brightness of the SDR, but the HDR is terrible. I used to use the OLED CX with DTM turned on, now I turned off the HGIG on the S95C and turned on the Active DTM and the movies are still dimmer than on my CX, the same goes for games. Yes, bright objects are really bright, but the rest of the picture looks dimmer, is this normal? (And yes, I turned off energy saving and other improvements and checked it hundreds of times)

It’s at the point where if you have a normal oled you completely fucked up, shit is garbage compared

this is only the game mode captured in the dark conditions. In normal conditions S90C in definitly worst! Black during day is grey... sory samosung but this is a bull shit

So color is still an issue with LG then huh.. I have an LG Nanocell that is washed out, and wanted to upgrade to a better TV. I wanted to give LG another chance, but now I see I would have the same problem. I will go with a Samsung or a Sony.. wish Samsung had Dolby Vision

sorry but this review is bull S. Even your white Samsung logo is a brighter white and they should be the same. It seems you are intentionally making the Samsung seem better.

The C3 is just too dark I think LG did this on purpose so that their G3 would stand out. They know that the C3 and G3 are basically identical besides the brightness difference. Samsung on the other hand didn’t cripple their S90c in the brightness department that much. This is why people are recommending the S90c over the S95c flagship because the S90c is that close. Both companies crippled their non flagship TVs but LG overdid it making the S90c stand out more that simple.

Can u set brightnrsss n contrast on hdr and have it saved

I'm returning my qn90c it has bad ghosting. Picking between s90c and a80L wondering if s90c has the same bad ghosting as the qn90c???

Someone can fix problem with grayed out subtitles options? I would like to watch movies with subtitles from USB

How does the s90c 83’ with woled panel look tho? The lg software ja what’s largely responsible for the dull picture here when gaming.

Hard to drop $2k on a TV that caps out at 200 nits in Game Mode. I know people have said you get used to it, but that’s even dimmer than my Nintendo Switch OLED and my budget 2019 Samsung. I’m sure it’s ok if you ONLY play games in a completely blacked out room, but I feel like I’d want a little flexibility.

Dope vid… Ive had the C2 and can say it’s a beautiful tv. Main reason im switching over to the Samsung is for more streaming options and I personally don’t see much difference with the Dolby stuff. I’m curious what the HDR10+ has to offer and I’m excited to compare to my 2018 75 LED which still shows amazingly

I gave up on Samsung a few years becsuse of their "bait and switch" tricks..samsung customer service sucks too .ill stick with LG oled tvs..i have no real loyalty to these tv brands but Samsung has to redeem themselves b4 i go back...

First of all im a proud 77in LG C1 owner. I had never pruchased a high end TV but on SlickDeals stumbled on a BrandSmart deal that i think was a mistake $1800 in April of 22 for a brand new 77in C1 delivered for free since i lived within 10 miles of one of their like 4 stores. I couldnt believe how dramatic the difference was and patientlt waited 18 months for an upgrade to our living room Vizio.

BUT (idk what prices were like when this video went up) but right now anyone who buys a G3 over a S90C is either insane or money just isnt an issue. In relative terms the price is like comparing a Honda to a BMW only the Honda is arguably better especially related to Gaming. The real question is S90c vs C3 as both are about 1599 for 65in now. If you know and trust LG on their OLEDs i can totally understand going C3. I debated switching when LG matched the drop. But the S90C vs LG3? You could buy a crazy watranty where throwing a baseball at the screen is even covered and youd still come out saving money and the S90c still being the way better option since you have an all causes expensice ass specialty warranty, still save money, and likely get a better gaming TV still!

you dont get nvidia g-sync with the samsung s90c tho.

Just bought a 65” C3 yesterday from bestbuy lol I’m def exchanging for the s90c tomorrow 😂

Which would be best for just watching satellite TV (DirectTV) with mostly sports, 60% (basketball and football) and movies 25% (streamed through a laptop) with a little bit of PS 5 Gran Turismo and Uncharted mixed in, maybe 5%? Currently have a Panasonic ST60 with no issues that I absolutely love but need a bigger screen and will move that to the bedroom. Looking to go 77.

Did you deactivate the Energy Save Option in the LG Power Saving Settings? I have a C3 and it isn't that dim like in the video.

I won't consider Samsung until they support DolvyVision. Looking at the C3.

just wait for next release.... we will be getting ultrawide options. not ideal for tv watchers but for theater enthusiasts........

im watching this on a w oled monitor and i noticed a few things. as the samsung was brighter but the lighting was washed out... look at the definition of the football players the samsung has a lack of shading making the charicters look quite fake.. also i didnt find the colors as belivable. look at the sun when teh glare hits the screen.... the light on one is washed out the other looks so much better also was the samsung in 60hz mode it seemed blurry in the football game
. i also noticed you where using the custom game setting on the lg and it just hapened to be the darkest setting in the line of presets.. .

I just returned my s90c.
Oversaturated mess poor upscaling tv and inteligent mode on picture broken.
Also very cheap and flimsy plastic and nowthere near to lg quality.
LG is more accurate and quick enough.
Also picture went black, then tried to change colour space and it was latest firmware.
I never had a problems with lg tv and work straight from the box not like samsung.

personally i don't like the Colour preset that samsung apply on the OLED, it's too vibrant and everything like skin tones looks red. even on my 75" Q90R the red's are over saturated. I use a 42" C3 for Gaming because i prefer the Absolute Blacks and stuff for Games over the QLED.

Just got my C3 and its plenty bright for me. Not regretting my purchase as my wife and i both have sensitive eyes to brighter TVs

Should I keep the 55" S90C I got (unopened) or return it and get the 55" LG C3 for $200 cheaper? I still can't decide.
