I don't understand why some teenagers are having kids they CLEARLY can't care for. I'm moving on to my sophomore year of high school, playing baritone in band, and taking advanced mathematics. I don't have time for children! Hell, I still sleep with a Sonic the Hedgehog plush at night! Do they not realize they have to give up being a kid/teen once they have a baby? At least Aliki had the PARTIAL mindset of a young mother and adult. And why aren't the parents CORRECTLY questioned in this dumbass interview? Who lets a seventeen-year-old girl run off with some eighteen-year-old boy and expect nothing to happen when they're left alone for a "long" time? And nobody brings up the baby. It has to suffer the most because of the parent's stupid-ass decisions. Sadly, in this outcome, it wasn't good because Hannah lost all of her babies; one by miscarriage, the other two because of their prematurity. And not to mention she is not with Taylor anymore because he moved on to college, is a coach, and has a new girlfriend. All of them lose in the end except Aliki, her family, her son Carter in my opinion.

Teen pregnancy will continue as long as conservatives and the religious right have their way. The 2 things needed to best combat teen pregnancy is comprehensive sex ed in schools, and available and affordable contraception. Both are opposed by conservatives and the religious right.

Having premature babies is terrible and it's a risk factor when they're twins and teenage pregnancy they're at risk of being with premature optic nerve and blindness since they're eyes don't develop like a full term babies done. Thats so reckless selfish and irresponsible don't they want the best for they're life and children? why would you have sex at a young age especially unprotected.

I'm currently going through a possible pregnancy scare. I used to judge other teen moms but now knowing I may be one soon, I feel bad. i was irresponsible and i dont wish that on anyone else

Not that I have anything against what she did, but I thank god that I never have sex during my high school years. The last thing I wanted was to find out out the chick I banged ended up being pregnant because of me. That would’ve sucked. Thank god I focused on my studies in High School instead of doing all that.
