Getting my sofa knowledge game up to impress all the pretty ladies at Raymour & Ashley 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThanks ❤
ОтветитьGreat info… no confusion anymore for me.❤
ОтветитьThe manufacturers of recliners have streamlined some of them so that they are smaller, no overstuffing, tailored. So why can’t they/haven’t they done the same to recliner sofas? I’ve enjoyed one of those smaller recliners for more than 20 years, but have never seen a reclining sofa that doesn’t look like the Michelin Man. I’m no artist or designer, but I can easily visualize my own chair stretched out. If anyone knows of these, I’d love to hear about them. 😃
ОтветитьExceptional presentation.
ОтветитьGood morning thank you for the amazing videos please can you explain to me what is indivi sofa?
ОтветитьVery classy I love your hair
ОтветитьSo while the British and Dutch were busy conquering the world, France was designing dozens of single-use chairs.
Ответитьthis was amazingly informative and exactly what I was looking to find out!!! thank you.
ОтветитьGreat video, I love the Togo sofa. But, my friend found it 1st and got it before I could. I don't want to copy aka bite off of him. Would you be able to provide 3 other alternatives similar to this style and design? Keep up the great content, I'm reno...ing a small condo I've just closed on and I have great ideas. Now, I've got to make it come alive. Thanks!!!
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you.
ОтветитьKnoll is American?
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thanks!!
ОтветитьLawson sofas. Ugh. They’re so sloppy. Unfortunately, they seem to be really popular
ОтветитьWell said prononciation chaise longue !
ОтветитьYay! I finally know the name of my sofa!! Thank you for sharing!! 😊
ОтветитьWhat are your feelings on couch covers? Do you think you could buy a bolder couch color and then later cover it with a neutral cover if you got bored of it or is this not recommended?
ОтветитьVery very interesting, thank you
ОтветитьCamel back sofa
ОтветитьWhat a GREAT service this is to those of us who always wondered about all things sofas! I’m so glad I watched this before making my selection…there were so many additional styles I never considered! Thank you!!! 😊
ОтветитьChaise Lounge: because women would oftenfaint in the tight-fitting type of clothes that requires at least two maids to pull the laces and strap them in. 🥵
ОтветитьThank you! This’s very helpful
ОтветитьMy favorite type of sofa is definitely Mid-Century Modern. I have a particularly strong fixation on the more iconic models. I currently have an LC3 Sofa from Manhattan Home Design and I love its tan leather upholstery, minimalist design and dense cushions. <3
ОтветитьThis is such a great presentation !! Also as a french I never thought about longue being lounge, great little FYI.
ОтветитьVery useful video
ОтветитьIn the ‘90s, I bought what is essentially an English roll arm sofa from a mom-and-pop furniture store where I was able to choose the upholstery. It differs from a traditional English roll arm in that it has tall, thick rolled arms that flare out somewhat. It has a single bench seat cushion and a tight back with a big dip in the center, which was popular at the time. It’s sort of a camelback in reverse. It is big, chunky, and comfortable and I bought a matching chair and ottoman to go with it. I got all three pieces for $500.00. It has held up beautifully. I’ve only had it reupholstered once (in a different color velvet) and switched out the original modern-style wooden legs with more traditional ones. It sort of screams “1990s” but in a good way. ❤
ОтветитьI love a nice distressed-leather Chesterfield. I almost bought one. The only drawback is you can’t lean your head back. 😬
ОтветитьSo educational for those of us who have not been to design school. ❤
ОтветитьGreat video. I had a chesterfield, but gave it away. I thought I wanted it, but it didn't go with my esthetic. I like the English roll arm or the Lawson for my room anyway. They're all really lovely though. Thank you for explaining them all so well.
ОтветитьIt's very ableist to be rude about powered recliners. There are many with knee problems that benefit from the adjustable nature of them and not having an ottoman to trip over. Thanks for insulting those with disabilities.
ОтветитьThat "language is hard" was a subtle (yes I know that word!) diss at us Amurricans wasn't it!! I'm way too smarter for you than you are, posh pennies!! LOL
Wonderful video!
Excellent video, very valuable information. Thanks so much
ОтветитьSO WE'RE GOING TO JUST IGNORE THE NINTENDO "SWITCH" SOUND EFFECTS THROUGHOUT THE VIDEO
ОтветитьAlways wanted a Chesterfield, I have it now and will not change it till I die.
ОтветитьI have just discovered you and love your channel
ОтветитьExcellent informative video....after which I subscribed. Thanks!
ОтветитьUnfortunately my husband got to choose our sofa and of course we have recliners :”(
I already told him I’m choosing next lol
Always loved the chaise lounge and I plan on getting it soon!
ОтветитьThis was great! Can you do a video on sofas that are low to the ground? Like western versions of Middle Eastern floor seating and I believe there's a Japanese style of floor seating as well!
I love the comfortable floor seats that go all the way around a room but I keep looking for inspiration on how to modernize and minimize is for my everyday American life!
omg the recliner slander at the end is making me feel so validated, thank you for putting out genuinely informative content that is also hilarious
ОтветитьOk so all that info was well done…except for futons… Please since everyone seems to be downsizing show ( when U can) much more info on futons and space saving ideas….
BTW … Im now officially
Subscribed!!🎈✨🎈
So interesting. I just found you today and really appreciate the way you present material. I have no eye for decorating and keep thinking someone, somewhere, book, class, etc will explain the trick, haha. You are actually coming the closest. Also, one of my grandmothers was California born and bred and every sofa was a chesterfield, haha.
ОтветитьSorry, I’m team “comfort over style” 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьThe one advantage to a reclining sofa is, if you’re short, or have short legs, they can be more comfortable than non-reclining sofas. I agree with you on style (or lack of), though.
ОтветитьThank you! This is so informative and entertaining! 😍 I hope you do one for beds as well (I'd ask for chairs too but there is a shocking amount of types 😅)
ОтветитьHilarious! I seriously cant believe people buy those ugly lounge sofas with usb ports and coolers.. (sadly I have a friend with one but would never say a peep)
ОтветитьOkay but whats is your skincare routine
ОтветитьIt's the middle of the night... and I can't stop watching your videos!
