Having known nothing about this guy in the manga/webcomic, his first appearance had me so intrigued due to how badass and hardcore he looked and sounded. How direct and simple his reasons are, just that no-nonsense explanation and attitude, and how he's presented as clearly one of, if not the most powerful hero in the S-Class rank.

I was looking forward to what his fights would look like due to how amazing the fights were for Season 1.

So, while I'm a tad bit disappointed to know the truth, I do like him more now because of the amount of bullshit his enemies can pull out of nowhere. Underestimating a hero is fun seeing the enemy's shock, but an enemy psyching themself out by overestimating a hero is definitely a fun twist. Goes to show to have a balanced outlook to whomever you're facing, can't underestimate nor overestimate them, lest you look like the fool by the end.

King despite his entire fame being built on lies, still manages to be a better hero than 99% of the hero's in the show. He doesn't care about his fame or money. He just uses the reputation he stumbled into to stop fights before they start and to scare monsters into being better. And if that doesn't work, than usually Saitama bails him out. Still, he has some serious balls to do what he does.

First I see him I'm immediately love him for no reason but after hearing in he's a fraud I love him even more but he's not a fraud to be honest it's just his luck keep running into him

He is brave but his actual fear is his defeat

I don't see how King is a coward, it takes real guts to stand up those Dragon Class monsters, and he's weak to boot. He can't defeat them, but he takes them on anyway even though he is absolutely terrified. King is a hero.

So basically, kings engine is his heart rate going rapid when hes scared to shit?

Theory: The sound of his heart beating creates a frequency that when heard causes massive amounts of dread and fear to overwhelm his opponent.

King is capable of Phobo-kinesis, the power to project one's fear and dread upon others, making them undergo a panic attack and dwindle their attack down to pure anxiety and paranoia. The more he is terrified, the more opponents around him are as well. He doesn't even know it, which makes it even more potent.
