4 hours on 8 hours off?? What happened to 16 hours on 8 off??? Doesn't really matter though. Carrier duty is one of the most hazardous (flight Deck at least) jobs there is, God bless you all for serving! 😉

This is the biggest crock of shit. Work days on a naval vessel are 12 hours on and 12 hours off. That’s 84 hours a week. We work overtime, too. You’re lucky to sleep 6 hours. You can’t just switch departments all willy nilly that makes zero sense. There is no shift rotations unless your whole department does it. There isn’t some three section work week deal. There’s no internet to “Play games with loved ones back home” you can email them or pay to call them. Steel beach with a swim call never happens. You get a hot dog or a burger and you go back to work. A beer is only authorized if you are out to sea for 60 consecutive days and the CO has to approve it.

i love how he says they work for 4 hours and sleep for 8 hours but then says they work more than a 40 hour week, I don't think the maths checks out. Also he said there is no alcohol on board and then they have a massive container of cold beer.

"defending a country"... I like that point of view. Or relentlessly attacking other countries and regions to try and dominate the world order would be more exact.
I actually don't remember USA defending since perl arbor, which was a short attack to fend off.
"Risking their lifes", you mean risking yours to take another ones life on your initiative?
Hypocrisy at its finest, made in USA. Interesting society based on destruction, manipulation, money and some god praising evil.
