I struggle passing the guard and ALWAYS end up in a triangle. I am so glad I found your video and plan to try some of these in training today. 😊 thank you

Pure gold! Thank you so much for all your work on these videos. As a white belt, I'm gonna use a lot of these tips from now on.

Month 2 of jiu jitsu starts tonight! Going to keep these techniques in mind. The technique you referenced as normally being the first one taught is the first one we learned and I have a hard time doing it just like you said. I’m going to try the Tozi tonight, thanks!

Thank you. I didn't know how to stand up properly before. The grip is really key 👍

Thank you so much for that priceless instruction! I'm a recent amputee and new bjj practitioner. I just competed in my first competition and got stuck in my opponents closed guard. That Sao Paulo escape is going to be so useful for me! Thanks again!

But slams and can openers work. After all you just said: “We aim to show you how to grapple, not just jiu jitsu techniques.”

I'm new to jiu-jitsu, and your channel is by far my favorite. You're a natural teacher🙂 the work you put into your content creation is also very evident - it's engaging and relatively easy to follow for a newbie like me. Thank you.

What about using the tozi/são paulo pass when someone has the overhook? I used it successfully yesterday on a blue belt but would it work on someone more experienced?
