I never followed racing lines in video games, I always thought they were just some nerd bullshit. I wasn't playing to be as efficient as possible, I was playing to have fun! So on corners I usually powerslide or hug the inside and it always worked for me. I never cared about and never liked any nerdy stuff, like racing lines, and specific tuning configs, specific tyre material and pressure, I just have some fun and I learn stuff on my own, without any guidance or tutorials.
ОтветитьLove Donut, love Jerry's explainin'. But for a car channel, you folks need to correctly use "braking," when you mean slowing down, and "breaking" when things fall apart. So you know! ;-)
ОтветитьThis is hilarious to see in racing sims where people have no idea of this, it causes a collision and they blame eachother.
The person in front keeps to the racing line causing the person to dive bomb on the inside with a ridiculous amount of speed going into the corner which means they're going to get ahead but also naturally going to run wide only starting to turn in after the natural apex. Meanwhile the driver who was in front on the outside religiously is committed to the racing line so he's not going to slow down or deviate from his orthodoxical race line as in his eyes, he is taking the faster line of the corner and the other slower driver should make way. So you get one guy who's fast in slow out and running wide mid corner and another who slow in fast out and is turning in aggressive into the apex and they both collide and blame eachother 😂
Max>hamilton
ОтветитьPhysics will always dictate how fast you can go anywhere 😂
Ответитьit also helps that hamilton has DAS
ОтветитьHim: I’m talking to you Nathaniel.
Me: HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU
KNOW MY NAME!?!?
t3 in zandvoord the line is low but the fastes line is more up
Ответитьbreaking point???
ОтветитьJust Drift
ОтветитьIn games, I prefer drifting around corners. Its the fastest, and it has style!
ОтветитьAnd this is why he hit max verstappen
Ответитьim a total noob in car culture. but this channel gives me life and teaches me whats good and whats meh
thanks for the rotary engine history! that was my first delve into the culture and now im hooked cuz of yall.
sending love!
It ain't Inertia dumb**s! Its the Centrifugal force!
ОтветитьBecause the words optimal and best don't absolutely mean the same thing. The optimal racing line might be the fastest overall average, but there's plenty of points you can gain more speed using different methods.
ОтветитьTheory will only take you so far
ОтветитьI would love to have someone narrating live races with this kind of knowledge. One thing that makes watching races less interesting for a layman like me is the lack of deep knowledge by the narrators.
ОтветитьExplaining to the officer why I'm going 80 in the left lane:
ОтветитьWeight transfer, thats how you can beat the geometric apex
ОтветитьGreat info. Much apreciated!
ОтветитьI got scared when he said Nathaniel
ОтветитьI love to drift (in game, I'm a sissy) but it's a great way to throw your boot out and conserve speed if you've over braked. But I guess it would wreck their tires. I guess I love my games
ОтветитьHe doesn´t know racing at all. Video for people who doesn´t know and will just listen.
ОтветитьEspecially stupid this video looks now when everyone can see that Lewis is not acceptional driver at all.
ОтветитьThat Hamilton was the only guy out of everyone I see live at Silverstone braking the latest and screeching around this bend it was that Lewis guy who was the best and won
ОтветитьTotal F1 newbie here appreciating this breakdown, even though I only understood a fraction of it!
Ответить★🤯 I APPRECIATE YOUR WORK IN HELPING INITIATE INTEREST IN RACING 🏁 🏎 IN YOUR AUDIENCE . THANK YOU BRUV 🙏🏼🙏🏼👍🏽👍🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽★
ОтветитьYou know it's an old video when Hamilton's in the thumbnail
ОтветитьHow this all translates to motorcycles makes me wanna get on four wheels 😂 like yeah passing is fun but it’s also just as easy to get passed. It’s frustrating. But now I understand why MotoGP has more side by side racing than F1
ОтветитьI just started getting in to F1 racing and gaming. This video was an amazing intro in to it and why the racing line isn’t ideal. So glad I watched this before relying too much on it
Great video man, I look forward to watching more of your content
Trackmania offers great options for people that wanna play around and learn about GRIP on different surfaces
ОтветитьHahaha I can't take racing advice from an American lol 😅
ОтветитьAs per the latest 2 years, Lulu's line isn't winning aswell 😂
ОтветитьJohn B
Ответитьi play a ton of sims and sometimes i'll turn the lines on to see what the game recommends and they're not always good. the first corner on spa is a good example
i have my optional lines and then lines i use when challenging for position. normally i'm slow in fast out but sometimes i'm fast in to take the inside, blocking the person i'm jockeying for position
Did you mean Verstappen ?
ОтветитьDrivers were doing this wayyy before hamilton
Ответитьlison he can get a record and now max can still beat that guy
ОтветитьPlus, racing line is different because the exit speed is more important. Hamiltons line has more higher exit speed compared to theoretical line.
ОтветитьThe only thing Mazespin defends is his last position
ОтветитьSling shot ;)
Ответитьthats a lot of cut edits jeeze
ОтветитьI don't even own a f1
ОтветитьI do this while simracing and this is the first racing line video i've used, I have never used the racing line and i always have a good exit speed... should I start racing or mabye starting with karting?
ОтветитьThe main problem for F1 or karting lines is that Hamilton
