Store it in the outer layer of the ships hull, so the first thing to spill is this powder, quickly followed by the oil. Maybe, and this is a huge maybe, it could even work as a sealant to seal up the leak on the tanker, potentially preventing more of the oil spilling out and maybe even the loss of the ship.

I guess I would make a floating barrier...kinda like giant pool noodles and then drop the powder in to create the polymer. Then, I would take that precipitate and make candles with a cool backstory that helps pay for more powder. I might mix in some chemicals that abate mosquitoes.

I would easily mistake that for pink cake " strawberry doughnut with coconut flakes"

I will actually create a “Fishing Mesh” that have that polymer attached in an almost capsule or tablet like format like countless “Tea-bags”.

The fine mesh should assist with clean up and the polymer would be compressed in a capsule format to aid in controlling the distribution of the polymer so that the polymer does not in turn contaminate the waters you are trying to clean up.

Just imagine a gel diaper where the crystals in the diaper are open like or uncovered yet attached to a Muslin toweled mesh.

This is a confined experiment… 🤔 the ocean is always the worst affected tho, so how would this polymer react in an ocean setting where the water is constantly moving so piling it on thick like you just did in a cup would be kinda hard. Plus how much polymer would be needed per amount of oil? How would you confine the oil to stay put long enough to get absorbed by the polymer? This is amazing stuff especially if it’s not affected the the water’s salt content. Plus how would thick distribution of this stuff happen in an ocean setting and if this stuff misses the oil completely how would it effect marine life? Is it toxic?

Drones drones are how you coger an oil spill with out having to worrie about a larger flying vehicle pushiny down well flying and spreading the oil more somone get the inventor of this a peace prize

Start with a heavy line across the oil spill then do the perriphery of the spill and spiral in to the centre from there.

I would use my hand. I would grab handfuls of the polymer and I would toss it into large oil spills with my hands. That would be good. Big hands. Strong hands.

What if we did this with oil as we pump it? And then transport it to wherever it needs to go in this form of it? Depending on how expensive this material is that seems like the best option to me.

If you can still burn the oil and "extract the energy" from it, then just require tankers carry oil in this solid form.

It’s not toxic ? It’s basically a weird type of plastic. I mean I am not saying it wouldn’t work but you definitely need to make sure before hand you are not doing more damage then you are fixing.

Oil is less dense so you have to create a skimmer, create a spot with containment boom the clean in sections so I can control the process, oil goes in your product goes in clean oil. Have a vessel just to pick up the new oily material. After put the water back in the ocean. He said it’s not hazardous

Well, then why aren't they using it in oil spills? There must be a reason. I would take a guess and say that oil in a spill is very thin or it is dispersed in the water too finely. That's just a guess. You need to try that in water that is moving with the wind blowing, like the Gulf of Mexico.
