I only let out a small amount of string and I wrap it around the fill cap in such a way that it locks it in place. Swivel with attached stretch cord is about 6” from fill cap.
I’ve had ball come off the stretch cord. I now take a new heavy duty felt penn ball and I push an awl through the felt from one side to the other side of white line on ball. I run stretch cord through the channel made with awl. Attach the end of the cord to the main cord so it resembles a small triangle. This will allow room to stretch without coming loose. Now balls remain tethered for much longer until cord wears away.
Wish I would have seen this before getting it. Mine came with a wiffle ball, not a tennis ball.
ОтветитьMade in china surely
ОтветитьYou're the Uncle Rico of tennis
Ответитьhow long is the rope?
ОтветитьAgree with the above comment you need to keep a couple of rounds of rope around until you get to the metal link and it works much better and doesn’t break.
For my two cents it’s a good exercise device getting me out and moving when I can not find a tennis partner, but not sure that it would be a good training device because I hit the ball much differently to make it work with this product than I would if I were hitting to a opponent across the net. but for 10 bucks, I think it was a good investment to get me out there and get some exercise and work up a sweat
Tie to your ding dong and the fun will just keep on coming. I’m buying one.
ОтветитьYou should not full extend it, thats why it broke
ОтветитьJust tie the string back onto the base. That's what I did
Ответитьnice review
ОтветитьLooked like it was working well......until it didn't
