I honestly loved the Olitz after the breakup their minds were much clearer

Daaammnn…this scene was hard to watch. Almost dropped the show after this episode 😂 Like, things were said, lines were crossed…even with the last scene in the series, I doubt OLITZ could’ve ever go back to what we thought it was or wanted it to be.

Reading all these comments and re-living this episode is painful. Yes, Tony & Kerry acted their tails off. Having an Abortion to Silent Night went too far. Shonda’s over the top push for PP because she sat on the board… was BS. Olivia was too smart to get pregnant. This was the biggest “Jump the Shark” episode ever. Mid-Season nightmare for Shonda. The fans BAILED after this episode …active on-line boycotts and this show NEVER recovered.

The thing about men like Fitz they like to blame others for their problems and blame the victim. He was blaming Mellie for years but now Mellie is gone so now he is blaming Olivia and with Olivia this is what happens when you are the mistress and then become the wife. It is easy to love someone when you see them a few hours at a time but having to live with them is very different the fantasy disappears, and you see all that the wives had to deal with, and you can no longer be the fun escape.

This scene is hands down one of the best! I mean, they acted their faces off. It also showed the reality of Olivia/Fitz romance and took off the rose colored glasses. Mellie was right. It worked before because each of them played their part. Without her, it turned into this. With the added pressure of being in the public, they didn't really have a fair shot.

She wanted a way out because staying with him after aborting his baby would have been too much.
