Thank you for all the positive comments!
A couple of things to note:
-HEAT does not actually melt the copper. It just forces it through the armor.
-The reason APDS is better at angles is because it has much more velocity than APCR. This way, it can go through angled armor easier.
-Fins do not make a shell more aerodynamic or give it more velocity, it makes a shell more stable over long distances by stopping it from rotating. Because it's not spinning, the shell has a much lower chance of going somewhere else, therefore the shell is stabilized. Thus, shells with fins are better over distances than regular shells. (This is also why the shells with fins are called "fin-stabilized.")
-Due to a recent nerf, HESH no longer performs better when it faces angled armor.
-The shrapnel shell has many different names, but the reason I called it that is because in-game it is called shrapnel. The correct term would be fragmentation.

Thank you to all who corrected me :)
The 2nd most useful 15 minutes of my life
ОтветитьI realized how sad my life is while watching 15 minutes video about game ammo
Ответитьim gonna cry im studying warthunder
ОтветитьFun fact, APFSDSHECBC could exist, but would be very bad, so it doesn’t.
ОтветитьApsh is an anti tank round not anti emplacament round
ОтветитьBesh
ОтветитьSo what do I use in my 76 to kill is2s and tiger 2s
ОтветитьIf im correct, APCR round sabot does not discard and is a soft metal, so that means when it came into contact with angled armor, the soft metal hits the angled armor and it deforms the sabot, thus the sabot aims the shell upward. And since APDS discards the sabot, and because the core is made out of hard metal, the tip when come in contact with the armor dent in, thus making it penetrate.
ОтветитьThe abbreviations are giving me a stroke
ОтветитьNgl man i just switch when im in cover i never look at what im shooting. That probably is the worst approach but in my defense i dont like ground very much
ОтветитьYour for got the T in sabot
ОтветитьThanks guy
Ответитьwhy are the guided missiles called atgms for ground targets. i thought atgm standed for AIR to ground. shouldnt it be stgm or gtgm. i dont gert it lol
ОтветитьХерня почти все врет!!!😢
ОтветитьSo Hesh rounds are some what similar to RPG rounds
Ответитьthis video makes me want to play tanks now
thanks
Gigabased video
ОтветитьThanks for posting this....I'll shoot at an enemy and hit it 3-4 times then they finally shoot back and blow me up w/the first shot smh
ОтветитьI have trouble with destroying tanks,i tried to learn their armour in my br but failed.this video helped me choose what shells are best for my tank thanks alot can u make some vids abt armour, or something
ОтветитьI will learn this now that I play tons of tanks now I’m trying to grind to 5.0 Germany so I can take advantage of the Mause tank that will most likely come out in an event this holiday. Also I want to learn so that way I can stop shooting stuff and it not pinning then cycle through my ammo wasteinf shots just for none pens to happen regardless of where I shoot. Turret none pen cannon barrel bounces right off even the transmition is amine. But that situation is rare. Most times when I shoot something in the transmition or turret ring it dies or if it doesn’t when I switch ammo the second ammo I try usually dose the trick.
ОтветитьЧеловек, писавший субтитры - определённо русский
ОтветитьThe letters mason, what do they mean
ОтветитьIts simple. I play tank i choose cool looking shell
ОтветитьI shall never disclose this anywhere else. I am a M728 CEV player. I have noticed that if you shoot the 50 cal of a T28, or any 50cal for that matter, the HESH round explodes with such power that it turns most crews into liquid mush.
have fun with this :D
In summary, the best shell in game is APCHEBBPHCEBBBHCEABCHEBBAHHBCCAA
Ответитьim the 2k comment on this vidio
ОтветитьI suffered using APDS💀
ОтветитьBro Said HEAT-FS good for sniping 💀 (it travels around 800 m/s). Best one for sniping is APDS-FS (also called „Dart“, which travels around 1600 m/s and is Not destructible by activ protection system or reactive Armor. So use APDS-FS
ОтветитьThe animations in this video are more useful than the ones in game
Ответитьwhich type of ammo does sturmtiger using?
Ответитьi really love chemical immunity shell bc i can unlocked em from german faction in early game and that so POWERFUL to against light and medium tank (ww2 only)
ОтветитьAPDS is my favourite shell
ОтветитьI plan to use an m5a1 to support heavier units and scout with, what should I use?
ОтветитьMe watching this with +1000 hours into the game: “Ah yes, AP means armor piercing”
ОтветитьWell that was really hard to not confused the name
Ответитьwatched video
thought i was bad ass
5 hit a panther
gets one shot
f this
It’s like algebra
Ответитьpen pineapple apple pen
Ответитьafter watching this i cancelled game downloading, no way I'm spending time on learning all this
Ответитьif it doesn't boom or at least "spray" i'm not using it lol
ОтветитьWhere BESH?
ОтветитьСпасибо
ОтветитьOscars level CGI 👏👏
ОтветитьQuick Guide :
- Can your tank shoot AP with explosive fillers such as APHECBC ? If yes, then you can have fun and turn your brain off.
- If No, Is it APFSDS ?
-- If Yes, then it's fine.
-- If No, then you're not playing Russia or Germany and your grind is gonna drive you insane.
where is the SAP? sapcbc (kv2 apcbc)
ОтветитьThe best use for the smoke shell is shooting at tanks holding an angle to be able to move out without risking getting shot.
ОтветитьOk so shoot other tank when crosshair turn green, got it.
ОтветитьI heared AC/DC on solid armor piercing
