ОтветитьDude, you and Klee inspired me to starting to show my art. It was awfully scary)) But I did it. And now I'm sure that we need to show our art as soon as possible cause it's never perfect
ОтветитьI didn't think the lady looked like she was on a toilet! Oh well you can't control what people see and that is ok! I saw a woman in pain, emotionally.
ОтветитьSome very lucky students!
ОтветитьI wish you would have countered the toilet comment with what your vision for the piece was. Then you would have had the last word over your piece and that is likely what would have stuck in the minds of your audience.
ОтветитьThat was really nice ❤️
ОтветитьThank you for another awesome video, and love your Bob T-shirt. Bring on the happy accidents!
ОтветитьThat last statement is right on.
ОтветитьOk I love you guys. And I love this video and everything you said. Ok but this is the first time I noticed that you dress like a biker. I never heard you mention you drive a bike. Do you? And if so can I have a ride??
ОтветитьMy favorite art is imperfect....I like you always keeping it real. Thanks
ОтветитьWell said, it's so true awesome job, love did ! Also easier said then done lol !!
ОтветитьWhat a horrible thing to say about your painting, especially after you described what it meant to you. Instead of considering that while observing the art, she just blurted her ridiculous and mean comment. Forget her, it's beautiful and thank you for sharing what you were trying to communicate while painting her. This audience member is a rotten little heckler. Sorry about that. xxx
ОтветитьGreat advice!
ОтветитьI think having fingerprints on your work is unique cos it’s like an authentic signature 😍🙏
I like your work in the background Rafi the purple background is so pretty 😍
❤️ ❤️ ❤️Brilliant
ОтветитьThank you, thank you, thank you. I love this so much and I appreciate you sharing this so much. 😊💕🎨
ОтветитьThank you, great video. I have been suffering from Artist Block for a few month and a couple days ago I pick up a pencil, after listening to you, to let go a the self induced anxiety and just draw what you feel. Look at every piece you create as a master piece to you. If someone else loves it too, great I know it's going to good home. That sound silly, but there almost like our babies. You got let go and be free to create. Thank you, thank you. If you were my son, I would be very proud of incredible human you've become. So talented. Parents can be very stupid. Especially when they stop evolving . They don't understand individuality. I am very proud you of your achievements and perseverance. Much love.
ОтветитьThis is some great advice mang. Thank you. I feel inspired.
ОтветитьThank you. I struggle at times, this gives me hope.
ОтветитьI so appreciate you identifying the “I suck at art” phase. I thought I was alone in that process.
ОтветитьThank you, Rafi! Perfect timing for this. I realized I was trying to make my current piece fit the "perfect" mold of what I thought others would like. I'm just gonna chill and do what I feel like and trust it'll be beautiful. Thanks again!
ОтветитьYeah, I only wish I could paint people at all let alone as well as you do.
ОтветитьWhat a great lecture, thank you so much Rafi for sharing this. These are all question that I've been asking myself lately, what am I passionate about? I've been finding myself starting pieces and not finishing them because I'm not excited about it!
ОтветитьGreat inspiration! I find myself often wondering what people will think of my paintings, and that is usually when I start the downward spiral: they won't get it... they'll hate it... this is awful. It's hard to reel yourself back in. But I will start thinking of your talk and ask myself 'Do I love it?', and if the answer is yes... then it's as perfect as it's going to be! 😁
ОтветитьThank you Ralf. I trust my self more 😎
ОтветитьI loved this lecture! I love your art! Love watching you and Klee’s videos. Thank you!
ОтветитьGreat talk, great subject. Thx Rafi!
ОтветитьGreat tips and encouraging. I have covered up many paintings, I am too cheap to throw out a canvas. Love the tee shirt. I have the same one. LOL
ОтветитьThank you Rafi! I've been watching you and Gary V lately, trying to pound sentiments like this into my head. I'm an animal sculptor and I've been so caught up on perfectionism, especially with anatomy that I haven't actually been doing a lot of sculpting lately.
Gotta change that 🙃
I did eventually learn to paint over stuff, once I got over the big hurdle, myself. :-)
ОтветитьAnd where else will you be in deep contemplation? Lol very fluid, Rafi. Good job!
ОтветитьI had a feeling you were Cuban lol I'm 🇦🇬and🇵🇷
ОтветитьThank you!!! Thanks for your honesty and transparency. Listening to your ramblings (and Klee’s comments!) in all these videos helps me SO much to acknowledge what is happening for me as I make this transition. 💖👍🏽💖🎨🖌
ОтветитьEnjoyed this talk alot, thankyou again for the inspiration!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this! I love the piece behind you especially the blue color! But then, I love all your pieces!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing; very inspirational.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed this. The sculptures were wonderful, I’d like to see more about them. Like a whole video on how they were made why you made them and what they mean to you.
ОтветитьRafi thanks for being yourself in this video. So many get too serious when they do these types of things, but you kept it light and informative. I love your rambles.. don't ever change :)
ОтветитьOf course she's not on the toilet 🙄 if she was you would have DEFINITELY put a phone in her hand 😂.... I was like "oh no she didn't!" 😳 you handeled that SOOOOO WELL and then flipped it into a teachable moment ❤️
ОтветитьThank you Rafi. This is just what I needed to hear. I will watch this again whenever I need to hear your words of inspiration.
ОтветитьThank you Rafi, love taat you filmed this and also the sentiment of what you had to say 👍😊
ОтветитьThis was fantastic! Thank you for sharing it.
