I am stunned at the improvements to the animations in the 3d match engine. The ball and player movements look so much more realistic and as expected per laws of physics!

Why cant they cant they throw all these features in the console version seems pretty lazy to just implement all these features in the pc version. They need to Get with the times most people dont want to be cooped up to a computer desk playing games anymore

i think its overblown to be honest, it may look good ''for a football management game'' but thats not really high praise, i think watching the match play out is still the worst aspect of football manager, it dont look great by any modern standards, players still skate around like its ice a lot of the time, the way they lose the ball often looks completely ridiculous etc its harsh to say it because its a clear improvement on last year and easily the best its ever been but its still not good to watch in my opinion and it does kind of frustrate me that development time is clearly spent on this aspect of the game when as a management game it will always look jank, lets be honest we already know new engine or not that FM25's match engine will look jank too but we might with some luck get players that look somewhat like players who knows.

I know its harsh, ive got the game, playing it now like everyone else as it just released beta but i cant help but feel like theres so much more they could flesh out, its great when they say there is 2000 AI driven responses adding more depth but why not 5000, it wont matter what the response is we always know players are either angry, happy or neutral but there is absolutely no in between so it always feels unnatural.

blah blah, i know... ive spent 10 mins playing the 24 game i should shut up and play it and be less pessimistic. Its highly likely to be a great experience and probably the best ever, i believe that even being negative nelly.

Why do the players move like they're sliding on ice? Piss poor graphics imo. 30-40 quid for another year of barely any improvements? I'll wait another year I reckon.

What are the stadiums like , are the hot dog stands slightly better this year 😂
I couldn't really see if they were better in this video , I just want them to resemble real life stadiums , they don't have to match 100% with details etc.. just match up better , Villa Park is this weird three tiered stands at both ends with no corners , I'd love to see even just a 3 tier stand to represent the holt end and a two tier to match the opposite , with corner seating , I think that would add immersion , they have to create stadiums anyway , why not look at a picture and put the best graphics you have to match.
The new game physics always look odd at first, even fm23 looked odd for the first few hours then you get used to it and when you look back at a previous version you see the difference.
Sounds like this could be a decent end to this match engine.

Fell out of love from a epic Stirling Albion adventure in fm21 and grind in the other so stopped playing when fm23 was fairly new. Maybe Allenio is coming out of retirement 😀

OMG! Real World.....that is amazing in itself! Always wanted it to be like that where players join when they joined in real life and not right at the start of a new save.

I wasnt gonna get FM24 as I didnt enjoy 23 as much as 22 and of course FM25 is coming but now Ive pre-ordered.

I think Sports Interactive were smart by releasing an article explaining that this year's game (at the time) wouldn't be as improved as we may hope, because it lowered out expectations. And, in all fairness to them, they've already exceeded. A lot of the new features are simple, btu we've been crying out for them for years. Graphics updates, new set pieces, transfers. I don't think I've ever been so excited.

The eye patch is ideal for Loki, as he doesn't see depth in the team :D

Damn... I skipped all the FMs since 2018 (played them when I got the chance for free, never got into them though) but this one... this one feels different. Plus it's gonna be the last of its kind so might as well get it haha

It's annoying when players who can't even be substitutes say why don't you let me play?
It's also annoying that players keep asking for contracts even though they have contracts.

As you saw from your set piece set up in your demo game to us v Leeds sometimes it works sometimes it don’t. It’s algorithms in the game I.e random tbh. Don’t waste your time on set piece set ups or the data hub.. it’s window dressing. You’ll get exactly the same results from playing in default AI.. trust me on that.
