"We eat everything in Laos". I had rat at least two times, ones some dog, and some jungle birds a couple of times. When I asked, what meat it is, the answer always was "chicken". Ok, with the dog the answer was beef. You don't believe, I saw them slaughtering or skinning them a a come off his before. No judgement, meat is meat. It was in a very rural are, so the rats came from rice fields, and ok, the dogs were omnivore dogs.

Lao Lau at a Lao wedding is one of my favourite memories from northern Laos, Luang Nam Tha province. By the way my son's name is Mr Singh, without the Mr.
