2022 Bear Paradox compound bow review

I genuinely want to give positive reviews...
But it must be earnt.
Websites must accurately reflect stock levels.

ill say this about bear im getting one i bought a used hoyt 2017 pro defyant so yo ucant find any of the stuff like cams and my cam broke while drawing it back so now im out 900 so im gona get a bear and be done

Glad to see that I am not the only one seeing a blur past the pins! 😅 and not see how good I shot. We need glasses or cantacs 🤷‍♂️got some guys that shoved me their glasses and I was like wow I see like a eagle! 😳🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

This is a fantastic review on a bow I am considering buying. After being out of archery for 20 years I would like to get back into it. This gentleman really knows his stuff and presents a great video! 👍

Can you please do a review on the Bear Legend XR? I'd like to get into compound archery and I like the looks of the XR. I'm interested how it compares to other entry class bows like the diamond edge 320 or something similar. Would the XR be a good, quality beginner bow?

Bad reviews are learning experiences. If your sister got food poisoning from the bakery, it is probably something the business should know about so that they can fix the problem. Also as a consumer if they are slinging food poisoning I want to know so I can avoid chucking up my guts. If you just didn't like the food, yeah maybe consider that in the review and be specific so the business can try to improve. If you get a bad review as a business the response is to evaluate the criticism and determine if there is something you need to work on or if the customer is just whinging about something out of your control. If you just disregard every bad review and tell people not to leave them, then it seems you have gotten complacent in your business (and a little arrogant as well) and are thus cruising for more negative reviews. Sure some customers are jerks, but sometimes even jerks have a point. Sometimes the problem IS you. Like the bakery that gave your sister food poisoning, they were the problem and one that could have cost your sister dearly. They should fix that. Don't just excuse it. Help them be better, it is good for the business. And the reviews you do of the bows, love them or hate them, are the same thing. If you don't like a bow, well the maker can use that feedback to improve their product. Sorry Danny Boy hurt your feelings.

Stephen I have to disagree with you on the bear cruzer not having a solid back wall I own one and it has a very solid back wall

I bought this bow from Bass Pro shops online. When it arrived I noticed the top limb had a gap from the riser. It would not screw in because the hole was not completely threaded. I contacted Bear and they said it should be fixed. I asked if I could send it back but this was late Friday afternoon, I took it to Bass Pro and they replaced it before Bear had a chance to solve the issue so I can comment on the customer service. I will say the second bow is way better than the first. The first one was a basket case that I couldn’t get sighted in correctly. The second one was spot on from day one. It is hard to judge a company on customer service sometimes. I would buy another Bear for sure but I think my second bow will be a Diamond Archery Edge 320 or a PSE stinger. If I get another Bear it would probably be the Legit

You need to try an Athens bow. It is by far the best bow I have shot for the money. The peak 38 is awesome

Great review but why can't we in Australia get spare bear strings..I just put a new string on my bear kuma 30 made by gas bowstrings and they r crap.

I got a paradox in December for a gift, mine was quite accurate directly out of the box and haven't had to adjust anything as of yet. Shoots plenty fast enough for hunting IMO and has a great price, I love mine and I would recommend to anyone.

I have a Paradox in the Fred Bear camo and it’s been great. It shoots amazing groups and has put quite a few deer and hogs on the ground

Running the numbers through the back country bowhunting arrow speed calculator (which while it isn't perfect it has in my experience been pretty good) it shows this bow coming out at about a 320 IBO speed, about 10 fps short of the advertised 330 at least with the VAPs, I didn't run the numbers on the gold tips.
10 fps short is a lot closer than I have seen some bows costing a third more come.

The problem here in the UK is:
Bow hunting is illegal.
ArcheryGB dont allow camo on clothing or bows at competitions. Most clubs also dont allow it

The g1 Bear Cruzer I have is great. I believe it's 5 years for limbs and cams, lifetime riser. I gouged the slide rail and they sent one free. Thank you, the Paradox looks solid.

Probably pickup 10fps if you take off that rubber tubing on the peep. Love the channel by the way.

I have the bear paradox has my back up bow my main bow is a bowtech revolt.

My first hunting bow was a Bear from this ilk(2008 Lights Out). Had a 300fps ibo rating. I bagged more deer with it than any other bow that I own or owned. I had pass throughs' on deer up to 40 yds out using the original muzzy broadhead. Very easy bow to shoot.

Don't worry about them ares holes with bad reviews you get them all over making bad reviews it's like they have a problem if thing's don't go there way

That thing sounds really loud to me and I shoot an Oneida LFM from 97!

Bear catalog’s 6 single cam models and PSE has the Stinger. I still love the shoot ability and ease of maintenance of single cams. Sure, you give up some speed, but that’s not a big deal in my book.

Some of the things I learned about camo during my time in the military is the colors and shapes don't matter too much in the grand scheme of things. As long as they're not bright colors or shapes with sharp corners or straight lines. The exception is any digital patterns. They're designed to disrupt your vision by appearing to be out of focus or blurry past a certain distance.

As long as the shape is broken up by different colors and soft shapes you'll be fine. And black is a no go in the woods no matter where you are.

Awesome review, Steven! I shoot the 2020 Bear Species, and it greatly reminds me of the Paradox. Couldn’t be happier with my bow. Shoots very smooth and it’s dependable. Killed a nice buck last fall.

This is one of my favourite bows. Value for money is this one.

In 1997 I killed a 166 P and Y 8 point with a Bear Cam one a Walmrt 0only bow I bought it fo $199 on a Wed on Fri. I killed a 166" P&Y buck that field dressed 270 lbs. been bowhunting 57 years still shot Bear

I won the servial shoot at 1993 IBO world champ at Lake Shelybeville Il. with a Carbon Extreme fishised 120 out of 2700 in bowhunter open in main shot
