I have to also request what Dillon Bailey asked for.
I'm dealing with 5 teams that are shared and will double over time, which means some assignees are across teams and may float in and out of the project, as I line up more resources I know each assignees availability - but where on earth do I set that value. I know assignee A is 50/50 across teams and in taking 2 days of PTO - that's quite finite - but there's no place to establish that for a team and with shared personnel it's tedious to calculate every Sprint. While it's fun to have the what-ifs sliders for Epic sizing etc. It's very limited value IMHO. My resource availability is a lot less fuzzy and is more predictable. Stacking my groomed/estimated backlog against my resource availability should not be so complicated.

Jira likes to complicate simple things, instead of people working on their projects they need to read articles about how to set capacity to team member and make an estimation to the sprint, totally waste of time, if it was up to me I wouldn't use Jira, TFS is much better.

Is it possible to have a capacity view by assignee rather than team?

Please do not eliminate the old interfase, this newone is not useful at all compared to the old one.
