the anax is essentially the emperor while the king is his subordinate and means the scribe.

ОтветитьAs soon as that music from Sid Myers Civilization hit i was like damn i should spam some bronze age military unit's.
Ответитьthe crusader kings background music 10/10
ОтветитьIts so amazing that i learn about all these anatolian, mesapotamian civilization and today i get to live in these ancient lands. I am a part of it, we all are a part of it...
Ответитьan ancient historian job is to interwoven thge ancient east with the stories of greece. the seams looks like is on the greek-Hittaite border in western anatolia (Asia minor).
so what was actually the Trojan war? was it a mith? was it a real war? was it a mith based on an ancient war (like the fall of Ebla by Accad in 3500BCE)? and can we find the patch with the bible stories (the rise of the hebrew double kingdoms)?
Good story

ОтветитьNice thank you
ОтветитьIt's like when the Spanish came and fuckd up those western hemisphere empires
ОтветитьThere was no Palastine in the bronze era. Wasn't named Palastine until the Roman's renamed it in 135.
ОтветитьExceptionally well made. History is largely verbal and that is what makes this stand out. Just listen and it's great, what picture and video you added were a bonus.
ОтветитьWTF is “mice & A”? 🤨
ОтветитьExcellent video. Thank you.
ОтветитьPretty sure some of this music is from Civilization VI
ОтветитьThink about when religion beliefs collapse
Ответитьdamn. Hittites were an empire? No wonder they hated Israel's guts.
ОтветитьImagine 3000 years from now furture historians talk about the internet age collapse
ОтветитьWhen famine, war and riots happen all over the place, it's easier to blame “sea peoples”, since word of mouth changes over the years.
Ответитьwhy do you make every sentence into a question, makes it unlistenable sadly
Ответить"The Nile Delta is home to 90% of the country's population"--false. The Nile Delta is just the northernmost area of the Nile, where it joins the Mediterranean. It's true that 90% of Egypt's population lives near the Nile, but they mostly live in the Nile Valley, which runs north-south the whole length of the country, and is much bigger than the delta.
A serious factual mistake in the first 30 seconds of the video (!). Not good.
Could the Sea People's be of Nordic decent ? They conquered the mountains and the sea.
ОтветитьThis video was four years old in 2023 and you notice how he kept mentioning Palestine?
ОтветитьFascinating content but annoying and distracting narration , specifically, inappropriate pauses, voice inflection and at times unclear pronunciation.
ОтветитьI like the theory that the Sea Peoples were Trojan refugees.
Ответитьthis is AI. go fuck yourself
ОтветитьYeah, I think is happened during the 1960s.
!
uhm... it wasn't Assyria until long after Mesopotamia was gone
ОтветитьIf you are not already a professional narrator, you could be.
ОтветитьGreat account!! Thank you
ОтветитьWhat was the major invention/change at the end of the bronze age? Iron and its weaponization ! The rest is easy to guess. Nomadic, barbaric tribes that lived on the outskirts of the bronze age cities learnt to make & use iron weapons. Civilized, easy going city dwellers addicted to safe life of relative luxory were replaced by those barbaric nomads. This happened many times in history. Thus the cities got ravaged. Sometimes with some skirmishes and sometimes they were displaced without clash. They just fled leaving their cities to the nomads.
ОтветитьTop notch documentary ruined by upspeak/uptalk...
Ответитьspell civilization right my boy
Ответитьsuch great information, can't say I much like the music in this one though. Annoying.
ОтветитьThe Civ III music goes hard
ОтветитьIt collapsed because women went topless. Everyone knows that.😏
ОтветитьThey knew what they were they were named b the Egyptians
ОтветитьYeah, they will talk about The Democracy Age Collapse that occurred during Donald Trump’s reign, bigly.
ОтветитьThank you very much for this update lesson. Simple, clear and merely complete. Until the next state of arts.
Ответить"Fousand."
Ответитьciv soundtrack? nice :)=
ОтветитьEre was no place called palestine in the bronze age !!...
ОтветитьOne mistake in the intro: Calling the place where today is modern Israel/Palestine in the bronze age "palestine" is a huge error and anachronistic. The appropriate name will be Canaan.
ОтветитьThere were NO Greeks, nor Greece at that time, for centuries yet to come!...
ОтветитьThis is the same time as the Trojan warthog was around 1200 BC.
ОтветитьIt's crazy to think there were people who were like, "cities, yeah I remember those. Never gonna happen again."
ОтветитьCan't get past the accent, 3000 = free fousand
ОтветитьI’ve seen this video too many times
