Happy New Year everyone. Let's make this year a good one for all of us. ;-)
ОтветитьSTAYED IN CHANG MAI TWICE IN CHAING MIA IN THE EARLY 2000s,STAYED AT THE MAI PING HOTEL.WONDERFUL HOTEL AS CHANG MIA IS😀
ОтветитьVery informative. Thank you...
ОтветитьWe love Chiang Mai and have spent most winters there since 2005. We always get a long term rental somewhere in the N.E. corner of the old city. This year we will arrive November 3rd.
ОтветитьI've been to Thailand several times and I absolutely love Chiang Mai. Such a friendly place, great food and, as you say, the history of the Old Town is great, but CM also has a modern, bustling city side to it too. It caters to upmarket tourists just as well as it does to budget backpackers. If I were lucky enough to live in Thailand, I would probably live in Chiang Mai 🙂
ОтветитьHi! Where can I stay in Chiang Mai if I wanna be close to the beach and also can I visit the Elephnat sanctuary and snorkel if I stay in Chiang Mai? Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat views thank you !
Ответитьgood video ! ....what area would you consider to be sukhimvit and bangla there in chang mai ?
ОтветитьThink you’ll find Loi kroh road and boxing is the main boozing area of Chiang Mai fella. Boom 😊
ОтветитьI have lived in Chiang Mai for several years, and Thapae Gate is not a place where one can experience local culture. As you correctly point out, it is a tourist magnet, and even your accompanying video shows McDonald’s and Starbucks and hordes of tourist milling about, with the only tThais around, being those selling trinkets and food to the hordes of tourists. The Asians, you see walking about Thapae Gate and surrounding area are not Thai people, they are Chinese tourists feeding the pigeons, despite the signs asking you not to do so.
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьOkay,sir,Thank you,sir
ОтветитьThank you all,sir, Chiangmai people,Yes,sir.
ОтветитьI like this country I want go but many problem with me😊😊
ОтветитьGreat review- extremely helpful especially noting the areas and the niceties and drawbacks
ОтветитьWell done - thank you!
ОтветитьWelcome to Chiangmai, Thaikand.❤🇹🇭
ОтветитьI'm Thai and Chiang Mai is my home town I'm watching your video to help my foreigner friend plan the trip there what I'm gonna say is your pronunciation is really good for all the Thai words haha
ОтветитьPrice ?"?
ОтветитьExcellent info <3 I'm planning a Thai massage Course there & help me a lot to choose where to stay <3 Thanks darling
ОтветитьHey, what a great vlog. You orientated me to the parts of the city well - good idea having the map. Any tips on driving in Chiang Mai?
ОтветитьThanks for the vid, but I couldn’t watch it. Turn off the back ground music for me. Sorry
ОтветитьThe best hotel in old town
Chala number 6 hotel
This was exactly what I was looking for and finally you educated me on the areas so succinctly Big thanks!
ОтветитьThe backround music is bad!!!
ОтветитьFrom the past, I used to like Chiang Mai...Now it's unlikely. PM 2.5 dust is much higher than Bangkok and is ranked number one in the world as well. This problem is difficult to solve because the city is growing more and more people come to stay, more cars, more factories. Even if no one burns the forest, PM 2.5 is the most important from car smoke. City population will die in installments. Investors will aim to build real estate in the seaside town. more cities in the south because the air is easily circulated
ОтветитьYou guys should avoid hotels along the Ping River because of the noise! 😅
ОтветитьGreat video… I’m visiting this week so if you are around I’d be delighted to treat you to a coffee … I was also born in the North East 😊
ОтветитьYour video kind of helped. Thanks: do they have grab taxi ?
ОтветитьPOLICE SCAM, after all those years they still stop every tourist on a bike to pay them. The reason to hate Thailand. Thats why I stop tipping in Thailand.
ОтветитьI'm glad to see CNX has opened up again. When I was there at the end of the Covid gig, the place was a ghost town.
ОтветитьA great video and you really did your research! We are on our last day staying after 35 days and you are spot on! Amazing ❤
ОтветитьThanks for this with easy and simple explanations. I have subscribed.
ОтветитьGreat information. I will be coming to Chiang Mai at the end of February. I'm staying for a year, and this video will definitely help me decide where to look for a place.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. But I wished you didn't show a few of the Starbucks. Chiang Mai has better coffee than almost anyplace in the world, and great coffee shops all over. Locals and smart tourists would not waste their time with less superior coffee at a Starbucks. (:
ОтветитьDuring the "smokey times" in Chiang Mai is it bad during just the day or night too, and
how do you deal with it ?
Chiang Mai is very charming. It's like Kyoto of Japan but more fun. People there are so laid back. No wonder why many Thai artists like to set up their shops there. Even the food and drinks are more artistic than the rest of the country. You can feel Chiang Mai people put their heart for work at everything. And they charge so little compared to what they give to you.
My favorite area is definitely Nimman, the modernized part of the city which has the best shops and restaurants. I still have love-hate relationships with the red Song taew. Well, but it costs 10 baht to get anywhere around the city.and you can't beat its convenience.
Outside the city, Chiang Mai is heaven for any nature lovers. Foreigners should experience the local homestays. They are so cheap with amazing views. The mountains will cool you down.
This is a great video thanks. Will be very useful when l visit Chiang Mai in 2 weeks!
ОтветитьGreetings from Chiang Mai!
ОтветитьThailand is the paradise and the second home for all visitor !!!
ОтветитьWow สวยมากๆ สุขสันต์ปีใหม่ครับ
