Hi, how to check TV on ours ? I have LG G2.
ОтветитьDude, burn in typically doesn't appear until at least double that amount of time - 4000+ hours minimum unless very badly abused. I wouldn't assume anything at this point, it's too early. Varying your content could keep the burn in away and you may never get any, or in another year or two if careless too often you could still end up with nasty burn in on that TV.
ОтветитьMy CX 65 inch is 3010 Hours and spend a ton of hours gaming around 10 hours day/+More and night, watch movies, Reg TV and so on. Have my CX for 2 1/2 years. Getting the LG C3 65 inch soon and giving my 65-inch CX to my mom and dad. Thanks the update vid Tech Giant.
ОтветитьI started to have problems with LG Oled with Diablo 4 in under 120 hours of totally played!
ОтветитьOLED displays are ticking bombs that will definitely burn in overtime , each OLED pixel has a decay half life of 10K to 20k hours so around 3 years mark is when the point of failure is the highest!
ОтветитьHow can I know how many hours my C2 has ? I was looking for this information and I didn't know how to find it out
ОтветитьI don't know about OLED but I did burn a Plazma tv using it as a monitor for years. Moving the icons and search bar around once in a while will help prevent it, make sure it goes to sleep quickly and choose static images that don't have alot of contrast for example don't have a white search bar and a black wallpaper, use a high hud opacity in games ect, just common sense stuff. It takes alot of negligence to burn a screen
ОтветитьHave you had any eye strain issues, headaches when watching Lgc2 tv..
ОтветитьPushing 6000 hours on c1 no problems next few months will be use it more just had heart surgery the best choice I've made on a TV
Had a Samsung before burn in on it done with Samsung TV'S
How do I see the hour count? Have a evnia 42'' here right now to test and will probably swap it to c2 for glossy coating
ОтветитьWhat are your speakers? Look really great
ОтветитьOK, so the refreshing algorithm seems to work and there are no uniformity issues, but it would be interesting to know how much overall brightness loss there is, since the algorithm works by dimming the less used pixels to the level of the more used ones. Even if there are no uniformity issues, the screen will get dimmer over time.
ОтветитьI play a lot of FIFA on my G2 and was worried about image burn in (score HUD). But after about 6 months no issues
ОтветитьClean up did not make much of difference your test video quality. It could mean there was no appreciable degradation after 2K hours, to begin with. And, that should be a good news for all LG OLED owners.
ОтветитьDoes it lose brightness over time?
ОтветитьПизда конечно, все выгорело
ОтветитьI'm at around 11,800 hours (as PC monitor) on my LG 55B9 and I too have no signs of burn in. In fact I don't think I have ever been prompted to run a manual pixel refresh either, but that automated one which takes only 5-10mins runs every night when I go to bed
What I have noticed recently however is dead subpixels:
Red ~ 15
Blue ~ 10
Green and White ~ 30
The red and blue are completely separate but the green and white ones match up with each other perfectly, and they're mostly along the left edge, some at the bottom and a few green/white across the top - all either right at the edge or within 5 or so pixels from the edge of the panel though
It certainly is a worrying amount to find, but given I use a messy arrangement of floating windows rather than docked/full screen they've likely been dead for a very long time without me even noticing. In fact it was your old video on dead pixels showing up in my feed that made me even look for them to begin with.
I suppose as long as they stay right next to the edge and are dead pixels rather than stuck on, I don't really mind.. if it gets worse I can just lower the desktop resolution slightly 🤷♀
Wouldn't recommend resizing 4k content like that but everything I do is resizable anyway like web browsers, office apps, graphic/3D design and gaming
Color banding yuck.. on a crappy lcd have had that.. on newer better quality lcds never get.. no thanks
Ответитьwhat is your brighness level? I think it depends on brightness, risk for burn-in happens on max brightness.
ОтветитьAfter 2 years my Oled C9 i started to notice dead pixel around the sides unfortunately LG in my country didn't help me at all they said to me is "if the warranty expired there's nothing we can do" :(
ОтветитьMy G2 started to have issues after 5,000 hrs. My C7 had issues after 7,000 hours.
ОтветитьI shouldn't be watching this having just purchased a C2 lol
ОтветитьI mean 2000 hours is like 6-7 months for me but that is decent results. Do you think Sonys enhanced processors and maybe features would help delay burn in on their displays better ?
ОтветитьIf an OLED, especially new gen OLED, burns in within 2000 hours, it is simply a defective panel from the factory. New OLEDs should be designed for 8hrs/day minimum, 3000h/year minimum usage in mind, and expected to last 9000-15000 hours before burn in happens.
ОтветитьThis test seems to be a bit early for a lifetime test as I understood it was. Who would expect Oled burn in only after 2000 hours? heck these newer oled can do everything between 60k to 120k hours right? myself running LG Oled 48" 4k 48GQ900 as PC monitor and done 1700hours with NO regard of static pictures nor brightness reduction. this is my first Oled monitor so I will be be a bit carefull stating facts here. nevertheless I believe there is a high and unrealistic fear in Oled burn in in this modern market. I dont think people realise how much 60k hours is or even 100k hours considering seeing people taking all these precautions to prevent the burn. I will atleast for my self enjoy the awesome Oled picture at its fullest at every moment, instead of restricting the screen and such as I believe it will last long enough to prove its value :)
ОтветитьI think about buying an OLED. Although some owners complain of auto dimming that can ruin TV experience. Is this true ?
ОтветитьPleased to report I just passed — 8000 hours — on my 2020 65 inch LG CX and no issues — yet. Use = all tv mixed viewing / no gaming . . . yet.
Ответитьmy lg tv has7956 hours
ОтветитьI don’t even use my TV for more than an 2 hours a day after coming home. So I’d easily get at least three years of use with minimal burn in
ОтветитьSO OLED TV are trash and too expensive !
ОтветитьToo much bullshit
Ответитьall five of my oleds have got dead pixels, not just 1 or 2 , i mean they are everywhere all over the display. good to see the newer g series panels are doing better
Ответить"Movies are made up of 50% visuals and 50% audio and there are occasions when the audio of does the visuals"
That's meant for you, yes you the one who still using TV speakers.
I bought a42" from a guy that put 1300 hrs on it.. It still looks stunning.. Except i think it's getting ghosting or something during my gaming
Ответитьwhat's your brightness settings giant? also very prominent pink taint on left side of tv
ОтветитьLove u tech giant!
ОтветитьMy LG C2 42 inch has 2810 hours and it's been fantastic, zero complaints. The HDMI cable is key.
ОтветитьIm well over 2000 hours but, never got the pixel cleaning notification for my C2...
ОтветитьNot sure if LG stepped up their game, or if I won the panel lottery, but my G3 is the cleanest panel I ever had out the box!
ОтветитьHi Paul, will you ever check for the latest LG OLED C1 03.34.80 update please? 🙂 I don't know if I can use it. Thank you and good luck 😉
ОтветитьJust buy a new tv 🤦♂️
ОтветитьWell, youd hope that there is no burn in after just 2000 hours. 2000 hours is not much at all for a display.
ОтветитьIt all depends on what you listening. Screen Burn Is Still Real with Gaming. Yes Apex static energy white bars burned my OLED CX. It’s burned.
Apex burns oled.
Just had to have my new Panasonic Oled replaced due to a bright spot in the corner. It was occasionally visible in normal content and showed up even on 50% grey slides. A shame cus the panel was great otherwise 😢
ОтветитьIs s95b samsung good for ps5
ОтветитьThanks for you I'm still loving my G1!! Such a Fantastic TV!!
ОтветитьRecently got a ps5. Using on my lg c9 needless to say I now want oled for my pc. It’s just that good for gaming!
ОтветитьUsing LG cx for ~2 years now as a monitor, zero issues/no burn in.
Ответить
